Morning all.
First of the month and always the worst time for me money wise.My rent and lenses go on the first and after that I hardly ever have any money left to survive till payday on 15th. I have £10.46 left, but that should pay for £6.77 bill, and two times badminton court at £4.40 and this weekend I'm in a competition which is another £5.Still have £23.90 for food, but that will be spent on food.
Also want to go and see Terminator 3 next week...Went to see Bruno last night, for free though. They had problems with the reel and it was paused 3 times which was bit annoying as didn't get to watch it all in one go. Wasn't that good though, I was quite disappointed.
Unfortunately I can't even contemplate buying anything 'bad' cos I just really don't have the money and I don't use my credit card for things like that anyway. I need a second job, but have no time for one...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Hi Tirlitten
I don't like the first of the month either, I have the endowment premium come out and my dogs trust payment, I only pay the minimum a week but don't want to stop doing it as I've been doing it since Rocky died and it is only what I would have spent on treats for him.
I wish I could get a job too but OH's hours don't allow it, not sure what I would do. Before I met OH I had a full time job and a part time job 3 evenings a week doing Data Entry, I really enjoyed doing that and the extra money was good. I'm at a time now where it's the poorest I've ever been and I hate it, I hate having so much debt.
I put 17p in my Sealed Pot last night, went out with my friend and had a good time, got back about 8pm but decided I didn't want to go home as I knew the kids would still be up so I went to Sainsbury's and bought OH a birthday cake for tomorrow and some wine, sat in the car reading the paper, got home about 9.10 and low and behold all 3 minxes were still awake, they had been waiting for me so they didn't go to sleep until about 10pm after much telling off from me.

Hey CMD.
Glasto was brilliant. Really enjoyed it.
Didn't really have favourite as such. I liked Neil Young, Bruce, Blur,Lisa Hannigan and Spinal Tap, Tom Jones and Dizzee Rascal were quite fun as well.
Took us 7hours to get to Glasto on Wednesday from Cardiff, usually about 2-2.5 hour trip!! Thursday it rained and till about 2pm on Friday, but then cleared and was baking hot. I said I wouldn't be going next year, but now I'm not so sure...:o It's addictive.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Blur looked amazing on stage. I was obsessed with them when I was younger, loved them!
Lisa Hannigan has an amazing voice. I think she was right to go out on her own from Damien Rice, he is supposed to be a right !!!!.
I saw Bruce Springsteen and Tom Jones a few years ago (at separate concerts) and both were fab!
I think the line up this year (for bands that I like) was the best ever. Am very jealous!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Blur was great, but crowd was crap, no one was dancing!! My bf was bit !!!!ed off with that.We were on the front, but behind the stupid barriers and a girl behind and a guy to the next of him complained cos he trod on their toes couple of times,go figure.
Yes, Lisa does have an amazing voice,I'd go and see her again.
Bruce was absolutely brilliant (not a fan) and he really put on a good show, my friend who was not with us and is a fan, was very jealous. Bit full of himself though.
Tom Jones was good but not as good as I expected (again not a fan, but just expected a bit more).
Oh, also saw THe Specials and Madness, both very good.
I only went to Glasto first time last year and was bit disappointed about the line up then, this year, much better and really enjoyed it. My bf has been going since '94 only missing couple of times. I think I would've like to have been there for '07 as well.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Just checked my bank account online and my Direct Debit to Prudential for the Mortgage Endowment premium hasn't come out, I've been paying it on the 1st of the month for 13 years, just rang them and they said if it hasn't come out by the middle of the month to ring up and pay by Debit card.
Has anyone else had a Direct Debit not come out on the day it was meant to? And if so, has it come out the next day?

Hey TMD,
my budget is so tight there's hardly any manouvering room so by first everythings pretty much gone..If I'd be single, I'd have a second job, but with my hobbies and wanting to see bf, there's not much time left. Hmmm, where'd you get your data entry work if I may ask? Woudn't mind doing something like that.
Shame about kids waiting for you to get home, but I guess it's nice they want to see you.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
