It is such a coincidence that it has happened as he was getting ready to tour again. I wonder whether his body just couldn't cope with the level of stress he was putting on it.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I absolutely loved his earlier music. Bad is still one of the best albums I've ever heard.
I'm with PAID I never thought he was that old. I just wonder if its related to his painkiller addiction plus stress over his money problems.
I'm a bit confused as to why his family / the hospital haven't made a formal confirmation. It seems like he was taken there a few hours agoLooking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

I wonder if he is on life support while they try and work out what to do... wouldn't surprise me if he wanted the cryogencially frozen thing altho whether he still had enough money left to do anything like that who knows...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Wonder if they are trying to get hold of members of his family first as think they are quite religious aren't they. You think with that many famous people in one family they may be scattered across the world.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

The BBC just referred to TMZ as a reliable source. I always thought it was a dodgy gossip channel that I like watching when in America
it has a new respectability.
