If I buy a new flight bag it would be mean not to take it on a trip. Wouldn't want to be accused of cruelty to luggage!

Gosh, you have willpower, I am thinking - get bf and parents to put money in towards it for my birthday (August) and then use my sealed pots to make up a chunk of the rest of the amount.

I have the worst willpower in the world but I think it would be a nice treat. My lack of willpower is with holidays. Then I can never say no!

Hi luckily for me I don't have the handbag bug...(:confused:I don't like any of those patterned bags at all!!!) I splashed out on a Stone briefcase/bag black patent leather £35 reduced from £70 and I felt I had really pushed the boat out. My other bag is £7 from Tesco :rotfl:Overspending on food and bargains were my past debt/crimes!

Well guys I definitely have a job to go to on Tuesday - not what I wanted, not where I wanted and not the money I wanted but okay and will be able to start kicking that debt again.... I am still waiting to hear back on a few other better paid jobs so we will see what happens!

    Hiya all! :hello:

Back from Sicily yesterday. Had a lovely, relaxing time. And the weather was mostly gorgeous! :)

Got paid whilst away and have just now paid £235 extra off Virgin cc and the minimum payment of £25 has gone as well. Have transferred £112.42 to student loan account. Getting closer to the 3k mark on this challenge. Student loan interest is still crippling me and not really feeling I'm making much headway with it, but just need to be patient, the time will come.

Had to buy some clothes for hols and spent a lot more than I had money for, but sensible things that I'll use all the time like new casual trainers I've been needing since last year. Still not quite sure how I'm paying for it all now, but have free overdraft till autumn time and buy that time everything will have been paid. Just no new clothes for ages again. :(

Haven't had time to catch up yet on this thread so will go soon and have a read. Hope everythings going fine. Now need to go and rescue my garlic bread before it burns...
