    Thanks Doodledo,

Yes, I'm delighted I seem to have gotten my motivation back for paying off the debts. AQA not going so well this month. I am only only on £31 but if I can get to £150 I will be happy as that is more off my Virgin card. Can't wait til all these debts are cleared and we have money for ourselves to spend on what we want!

How is the house going? Is is up on the market yet?

The day we are all debt free will be so amazing, when you think how much we all pay off on debts every single month. To think we will have this for us is an exciting thought.

Not on the market yet have to do the HIP thing first which is next week then it should be the week after it goes on the market. Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Thanks SavingH!

Just checked my Virgin card now and the balance transfer has gone through, and also the £400 payment so I now have £979 left on it. That's a lot better than £4,500 a few weeks ago. At the interest rate they were charging me I never would have got it down. So first aim is to get rid of the Virgin card (hopefully with OH's back tax whenever it arrives) and then tackle the other credit card and try and get that paid before November comes and the 0% rate is gone. That will be all the credit card debt gone then!!!

Hi CMD et al - yes it will be fab to be earning again. Today and yesterday tho there has been a queue of agencies ringing me about jobs - some of which would be amazing money altho very demanding.

Providing the reference checking etc goes okay I pretty much have the job I went for earlier this week and will start next week. The £ is not great tho so I am trying to fit in other interviews this week if poss to give me more options but that is all adding to the pressure!

I have an interview for a really well paid job Thursday - the agency submitted 4 people and they are only seeing me, another agency submitted a similar number and they are seeing 1 person from them too! Seriously - it is such a well paid job that if I had just seen it advertised I would have felt cheeky applying for it LOL! That one is only 12 months tho.... But this afternoon I got rung up about a job where the salary was even higher plus it came with a car.... and my CV has gone in for that... I think I just consistently undersell myself (to myself) and just need to have a lot more confidence. It is amazing to me to even get an interview for it or be put forward....

I have a feeling tho I will need to start the temp job they are doing references for while still undergoing processes with other people which could really complicate things but there we go!

    Hellooooooooooo

Sounds like good news all round :T

I reckon I could have £400 to put towards my credit card at the end of this month (a week tomorrow) so am pretty happy with that.

Am going to try to get my bum back into gear to not spend and to pay off what I should be each month.

Now, I know that I say this every month, but this time I really, really mean it....

Also I have put myself on a diet (cheaper than replacing all of my now too small clothes) so eating less should cost less :D - although I can't stop peeing now I am on it, got to love that stage

Right, I have decided that I want to break the £7.5k barrier for this challenge by the end of June. That means I have £1766.98 to find. If I pay £400 at the end of this month that leaves £1366.98 (the 98p is very important ;)) to clear next month.

I want to get every one of my totals below the next £k too so the Lloyds Loan has to be sub £12k, my Egg loan has to be sub £3k and my Virgin Card has to be sub £2k

    Hold me to it ladies....

Just off to work out how to show all that in my siggy
