    doodledoo -pleased valuation went well.

I didn't get THE job I really wanted despite getting the top interview score... they gave the job to.... wait for it... the internal candidate! I am so cross!

Had an interview for a short term role yesterday - much less money - and have a final interview Monday so that could hopefully start the money flowing again and help me get debt free. It doesn't meet my career goals tho.... Have other interviews in the pipeline but if I get Monday's job could be difficult to get time off... Decisions, decisions....

    Bye for now!

SA - sorry about the job hun. It's frustrating with those circumstances as it makes you wonder if they had already decided that the internal applicant was getting the post anyway.

The other job is a dilemma isn't it. Obviously if the cash flow is required then it may be you have no choice but if you can hold out a little longer maybe it is better to wait for a job which will develop into the career you strive for. Like you say once in a job it can limit your chances of looking and applying for other jobs. A tough choice.

    Hi all,

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. OH is using the rest of his savings (small amount) to keep him going until the end of uni. He turned around this morning and gave me £400 to pay off my credit card so I am delighted with that! It means that there is only about £980 left on my virgin card, as the rest has been transferred to a 0% credit card. Am so determined to pay that off asap.

Delighted to be under 17K. Need to get going on AQA. Won't make my target this month but am so determined to make as much as I can! Can't wait til OH gets his tax back now as that will clear the Virgin card and will also pay some off the other credit card hopefully.
