I know that feeling. Sometimes I sit and think how much easier life would be if I wasn't in this mess. The good thing is it has taught me a valuable lesson and I know I will NEVER put myself in this situation again.:T

Oh I know... only minimum payments for me this month - because of the holiday... Could be over £3k on this challenge otherwise, but I have to have bit of a life as well.

    ARGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Why does it take so ruddy long!? GAH....

    Hows everyones day going?

I know it's hard but hang in there! We will all get there in the end!

Tirlittan - the holiday sounds lovely!

I am very tempted to book a flight to Majorca for 3 nights for when OH is finished uni. Even though we were home in Ireland last week I feel wrecked and would love to go somewhere just the 2 of us. Is that very bad?

I suppose how I am justifying it is that he will at least be getting the dole when he finishes. At the moment he is getting nothing so we will have more money coming in and if he gets a job then we will have even more money. Am I being stupid?

Decisions... I'd say go for it if it doesn't cost too much. You need bit of a life as well. Off now. Bye!

Hi all - it will only be minimum payments from me this month but even the don't come in to play until the end of next week. Well done to those still paying stuff off even if it is minimum payments - it is something at least!

I know what you mean about it seeming forever. With holidays I know I "need" a week away from home every year and some small breaks as well. Don't normally go abroad tho. We've managed to get a free holiday in August so that is helping keep temptation at bay! As soon as we are debt free tho I want a super duper holiday!

No holidays for us this year, our stay in London overnight is about all we're gonna be able manage for the foreseeable...

I'm all for the need for some r&r, but I know my priority needs to be paying off these debts.....
Just paid my council tax and bought DH's birthday present..... that was painful!!! LOL

And your priorities are in the right place if you ask me!!!

My OH's birthday was last week but didn't go overboard like other years thankfully. He was delighted with what I bought him as well and it was all practical stuff so it killed 2 birds with one stone!

Wish I was good at prioritising. It is prob why I am not so far along in the paper hat challenge!

When do you think you will be debt-free CAFC?
