well done cafcgirl on restraining yourself - that is the hardest thing to do - and in my opinion makes the most difference - what you avoid spending...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

HI all - I got a really good bonus today:j . I have moved £3K :j to my stoozing account but if in a few months time I still haven't got a job - then I will have to move it back to the main account and live on it...
I have decided to include it in the paper hat challenge for now - to try and incentivise me to
a) get my next job so we can use the money towards debts and
b) to cut our costs back and live on OH's wage if we can in the hope we can leave it untouched or at least relatively untouched...
Now we have nearly cleared the overdraft that is much more doable than it was. At the end of last month the overdraft was -£200 :j which is much better than normal. When I joined last July our overdraft was over £2K! I haven't included the overdraft in my current debt calc as it is so variable though.....:rolleyes:Watch this space!
* Also got £96 back in interview expenses
* Have a different interview for Monday
* Got flowers and choccies from work today!
* Haven't heard back from yesterday's interview yet!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

A nw job will turn up for you real soon. Have you had feedback from those you didn't get offered?
It just means it wasnt your purpose to do that job! It'll come to you....
Just off to check through my accounts and see if any cheeky payments have come out xx

Whats everyone got planned today?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
*positive job vibes to savingholmes* (and check out your total!!!)
howdy all
not been on much this week as have had a social life!!! (wonders will never cease)
nowt doing on the debt repayment front until 1st April - then my routine payments go out and then I have to NOT SPEND (<<< that is a note to self btw) so that I can do proper sized overpayments on my debts later in the month. Am hoping for £1k overpayments but have been so crap recently that I wouldn't be surprised if it was a lot less - I guess £800+ would see me happy
Not got much planned today but I might make OH take me to join Costco (one of the perks of being an NHS employee) and have a nosey round there.
Anything exciting happened while I have been off on my jaunts?£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
