Hi PAID and CAFCgirl - well done on debt busting efforts...
PAID I agree it can be really hard to stay on track.... with the paying stuff off a month... I have been spending a little more than ideally I would too but luckily I have been able to reduce my childcare spend etc which has helped me out...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

eurgh its such a horrid day here, just been raining constantly...
I was going to take Gordon out but he's just had a bath so dont want to undo all my hard work.
Waiting now for next months rounds of payments to start clearing, should hopefully be about £700 coming off this month just in standard payments and Im going to aim for another £50 or so from being penny pinching.
Still am yet to start work on the food budget....opps LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -
It rained here earlier but now is just windy and a bit chilly
How is gorgeous Gordon??
My going out budget has taken a hammering this month (and probably will do until the summer) I don't know what to do with this social life, it is most irregular (but mainly made up of flipping weddings)
Am thinking that I need to lose some weight though so will be cutting back on my eating budget(mainly the pizza, curry and eating out bit)

What a marvellous suggestion- I couldn't begin to estimate for March but from 1st April I shall. I am also going to put my NSDs in there so that my shame is plain for all to see. Ta muchly sh.
I am about to pop over to the 100 days thread, I just depressed myself by realising that I won't need to buy body wash, bath stuff or body cream (or fake tan) for about three years (and that is being generous about how much I can possibly use). I thought I was doing so well (and I have made a lot more space) but there is STILL so much of it (not helped by the stuff my family gave me for Christmas, lovely of them as they know how much I love smellies, but not really needed:o - or wanted the ungrateful little mare in me says) Mind you shampoo, mouthwash and toothbrushes are now totally under control and toothpaste is on its way there so a small :T
Next step, drop into conversation with parents etc that I have had a sort out and have discovered that I have enough smellies to last me that long, perhaps I should get them to buy me toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash and shampoo next yearnot so nice for them to buy but definitley more along the lines of what I would need

Hi all,
Am trying to clean my flat today and also chill at the same time. Well, will be able to chill once the flat is cleaned if you know what I mean!
Haven't been able to make as much on AQA as I would have since Xmas. My social life has also gone into overdrive including a weekend in Spain, a weekend at the lakes and 3 sets of friends come to visit me since Xmas.
I also have a lot of expenses coming up in April including Oh's birthday, brothers birthday, the birth of my first niece or nephew (so excited!!!), am going back to Ireland over Easter and also have a wedding in that time. So, I don't think I will be able to pay anymore than my usual £250 for the next few months. Can't wait for OH to finish uni and get a job so we can make a joint effort at paying off these debts.
It all seems a bit much at the moment. I suppose there is light at the end of the tunnel. He finishes at the beginning of July so not too long to go now.
Everyone seems to be doing really well. I miss this thread, I need to post more often.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi cmd
Lovely to see you
I need desperately to clean my flat but am studiously avoiding it on here. Mind you I did sort out the bathroom cupboard (which is the size of a small wardrobe) so not all bad.
I have had a few minimum payment months lately and have started to get really frustrated with it, I really need to step the pace back up. I really want to be debt free in April next year and that isn't going to happen if I don't do something about my slackness.
Focus on the light cmd (but not in a Poltergeist sort of a way) and you will be fine£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Evening Ladies good to see you all on line
I think a few of us are just doing minimum payments months lately. I don't feel like I have done much drastic really since Xmas. So I have joined the £10 a day challenge for April. Haven't actually achieved one before so maybe April is my time.
I have a lot of bits sorted to sell on Ebay that I am finding as I clear the house for selling so I have no excuse really.
