I want new PJs, socks, new tops for work, new boots (don't have ANY currently as they broke) plus want items for xmas presents on the finished baskets and craft for Xmas thread... so don't want much really. It wouldn't be so bad but I'm to the dentist this week and I think that will be a £300 bill  if I'm lucky as I want a white porcelain crown - I only have one wall of tooth left :o - the other side broke off and then the filling fell out! The only benefit of the lots of appointments it will probably take is at least it will spread the payments out - they operate a PAYG system too!

Okay, okay I promise not to go out - I will update the NSD thread and my signature as extra motivation...:p

We are also planning a couple of days away at half term to scout out a possible move for OH's job but that will involve a lot of petrol and an overnight stay... If we do end up taking the role then that could majorly impact our finances in the short term in a negative way... But that's partly why I've decided to stooze as long as I can...

  • I get paid next Thursday so there will be nothing until then unless I get paid my expenses between now and then. I am also looking forward to the signatures. Everyone is always so quiet at this time of the month. Have made a grand total of 90p on AQA today so think I will give up for the evening. Can't concentrate. Am giddy and I don't know why!

  • Just worked out that my minimum payments this last month on all my cards is just over £347 total. Wish I could get a part-time job but bf works shifts and every other weekend so have to rely on Ebay for my money. I have my Ebay business but that's not doing too well at the mo. Child Benefit goes in sometime this week and that is £175, am due my A&L Statement in the next few days, have another £50 Paypal money going in tomorrow or Wednesday and should have another £50 going in Friday.

Have sold a few things on Ebay, one on my Business account and two on my Personal account, listed 4 things tonight and will try and do more tomorrow, am so tired in the evenings and don't have the motivation.

Well, off to bed for an early night I think.

  • Hey Toomuchdebt,

It sounds like you are doing really well with the Ebay stuff and at least you are off the starting blocks! The only reason I can pay more than my minimum payments is because of AQA and I am always afraid I am going to get kicked off that for failing a review. I would be rightly up the creek then.

    Have a good nights sleep

Well thanks guys - made to NSD number 3 (for the month!!!) I'm supposed to do another 5 - don't quite think I am going to make it. I don't get paid until the end of the month so repayments don't generally get made until then... but OH got paid today so I could have a look whether I could move some from our second account... Will look at that in a mo... Got the bill with my expenses on today - doublely important now that I hurry up and put my expenses in! Have a good debt-busting day tomorrow everybody!

I've just set up a payment to my cashback card for 1 November so extra pressure to get expense claim in. Plus just moved another £200 from OH's salary to savings account - to stooze until 0% runs out...
