If I claim at the end of October I will defo get it back for Xmas. Maybe I think it takes ages but it is the same for everyone else. It usually takes about 3 weeks!!!

I am just an impatient person, I love to see it bringing my credit card down and even the day I pay it into the credit card I am impatient to see the balance coming down. That's prob why I am in so much debt. Too much of a 'I want it now attitude!'

    Hello everyone!

    Savingholmes - I am disappointed!! :p

Make sure you get them done tomorrow!

I tried to apply for one of them Virgin cards today but got turned down (must have a bad credit rating!). They offered me some 40% credit card  (I don't think so!!!)

Apart from that I haven't done much really. I tried to close my old account but they wouldn't let me as I didn't have the card on me so got find that tonight and do it tomorrow.

I'm waiting to get paid but it isn't till 31st Oct, but when it comes around I'll be paying about £700 off on my debt!!

    Hi Mike

I haven't heard yet about my application for the Virgin card, did you get a letter in the post or did they call you? When did you apply.

I called Lloyds and asked if they had any deals on BT's and they said there was a 'good' offer 4.9% for 6 months with a 3% fee, I nearly laughed, doesn't sound 'good' to me, not going to bother, I wouldn't have minded 4.9% for a year or until paid off. Oh well back to the drawing board, will just have to see what the A&L interest is after 15 November when my 2.9% reverts back.

Going to throw every spare penny at the A&L card.

I also sold one of my items on Ebay that I listed yesterday so that was good.

  • CAFCGirl - you do make me laugh! I hope you get your expenses back soon £275 in a lot of money.

Sell me Primark clothes, I've bought kids stuff from there before but haven't bought ladies clothes for years from Primark? I am hoping to go this week while bf is off, I do like going there and looking around but the queues are long most of the time and nearest one is about 4/5 miles away so we don't go very often.

You have to be the right body shape (and size) for primark - unfortunately I'm not so I prefer Matalan. I also found Primark clothes shrink more / quicker or that was my excuse anyway LOL

    Hi tmd,

I applied for it on the internet and they told me straight away at the end of the application that I had been unsucessful.

I think if they don't tell you anything then you can assume you have got one, just don't know what the apr would be!
