Evening one and all how are we all today?

Been a quiet day for me debt wise today as been busy with work meetings and other such boring stuff.

Do any of you do STP (slicethepie) if you do a new room has opened today so some pennies to be made. Not a huge amount I know but more and quicker than blinking dooyoo :rotfl:

Although saying that I can see how points build up with dooyoo as have only done 5 reviews but have over 4000 points :T

  • Hi all

No debt busting today but I didn't actually spend anything either so that is OK, am not really anticipating paying anything off until payday but then I will go for a big chunk - promise.

God this month is long, am skint as skint can be but no pay for me until a week Friday.

On the bright side my diet has improves as EVERYTHING this month has been home made, if I can keep that up at the same time as I DON'T spend any more on junk I should be OK.

Doodledo, I used to to STP but stopped and never cashed in my princely earnings (about £2) but I may have to give it a crack again, thank you for the reminder

    Hi tmd,

I applied for it on the internet and they told me straight away at the end of the application that I had been unsucessful.

I think if they don't tell you anything then you can assume you have got one, just don't know what the apr would be!

That is a shame, I applied on-line and it said they needed to check a few more things and I would hear from them. Hopefully I will get one with the 0% and a decent limit (would like at least 2k, although they will probably give me £500).

Will have to wait for the Postman this week.

    Well nevermind!

Once I pay a few of these catalogues off I'm sure I'll be able to get one and then I'll try and stick as much credit card debt onto it as I can!

I thought my debt was bad and then I've just been reading a thread of someone who is over £100k in debt (and none of it is from a mortgage!!).

    Feel sorry for that guy!

I'm sure them dooyoo miles add up eventually as about 600 of my points have just come from people rating me! And the more reviews you do, the more things people can rate you on!!

I remain gobsmacked at the range of things you can write about on Dooyoo from lipstick to books to musicals to belly dancing! I think I may be able to find a few. I'm itching to go shopping tho! I swear that one of the reasons debt is rising is people like me can now shop 24 hours where before if you were at work during the day that took so many of your opportunities away.

If I don't go out I could make it to NSD no 3 for the month but I've been told of a few bargains on the finished baskets thread and the temptation is killing me! Yes I have got it bad.... but then again how else would I have ended up here!

You can do it holmes! Just don't give in to temptation!

I haven't spent anything since Thursday, and I aren't finding it too bad really!

I thinkg I'll find it harder though once I get paid and then everything will be tempting me even more!!!

It is hard to try and not spend at first but you've just got to keep thinking what it'll be like once your debt free!!

How are you doing on the miles then CAFCgirl?

I've done 8 reviews but got 4840 miles so that's 840 from just ratings. Just goes to show that they will start to build up eventually!

Im on 8650 so far from 14 reviews, so each review has been worth 617 miles so far.

Now the real question is can I avoid the temptation to cash in for amazon ad hold out for the cash....
