Recipes with pumpkin??

Not with pumpkins, but have a couple Crown Prince (grey skinned) winter squashes, as well as some Sweet Dumpling varieties in the garage to get through. Luckily all these winter squashes store well and one of our other favourite meals is to use them in a vegetarian curry with onions, butter beans and celeriac. I wonder how many households up and down the country will simply be tossing their Haloween-carved pumpkins in the dustbin today. What a waste!0

Got pumpkins roasting in the oven atm along with the xmas cake (double use of oven you know!). I haven't got time this weekend to do anything with it so will sling it in the freezer and then use it as and when I need it. Got 2 pumpkins so no way they are going in the bin, although last year they did!!!!!! How times change!0

I have found a recipe for pumpkin and walnut bread which i am going to try - minus the walnuts! (i have all the ingredients then).

He sells most vegetables, its great. He is in the middle of a housing estate so he is a great source of fresh stuff.
The reason for the size is... DS is 12 and wants the biggest of everything. I gave him a budget of £3 but he got it for £2.20!!Sealed Pot Challenge - No 1520Want to be debt clear by June 2012:j0 -
