gosh Horace, I feel quite exhausted after reading all that lotI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

Daisy - I never even cooked my dinner tonight, so instead of Sunday dinner I had fried egg sandwiches:rolleyes:
Bashing in stakes was great fun - all I do is think of someone who has got on my tit as I bash away:rotfl: I do admit to feeling tired and a tad stiff so I think I will hop off to bed soon.:D0 -
Hello there, Good Morning or whatever it is.
My God it's cold. Just catching up on my e-mails, sometimes I don't log on for days (am sleeping like a baby), (actually trying to wake up is more like it!)
I must say Horace you do more in a day than I do in a couple of years!!!
I am exhausted even thinking about it!!!
Well, I will serve myself to the hot choclate(love this cafe) and then go back to the vitrual bed. Thanks for the blanket Daisy.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Does anyone mind if I bring my laptop into the cafe today?
I need a constant supply of virtual goodies to get me through the day and catch up on paperwork.
I might even move the cafe, now sparkling clean, perhaps to a delightful sea view of your own choice. Sparling sea or even a rough sea with lots of movement and interest.
Whatever you fancy.

Good Morning everyone, hope the cold weather's not affecting you all too much and you're keeping warm. It's a lovely warm fire in here isn't it ( if I could get near it for the cats!) I think I'll have hot chocolate today please. just going out for some bits and pieces. Went to Holmfirth on Saturday on freebie bus pass, lovely day, bit cold though. See you later.Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

M.E. I like the sound of a sea view - waves crashing onto the rocks and all that, you just can't beat it. I don't mind the laptop, it isnt taking up much room.
I am now after a chair by the fire and some hot chocolate with marshmallows, I need to recover after 2 days in the free gym:eek: That's my yearly exercise out of the way:rotfl: Better not speak too soon though because I found myself uttering words like "I have some telescopic loppers and a pruning saw, I don't mind thinning out the lower branches on the trees" It wasn't a conscious thing on my part, I just opened my mouth and the words fell out:eek:
...walks over to the fire and moves yet another cat off the chair (these damn cats seem to be breeding:eek: )0 -

Hi Lucy, I have some good memories of Holmfirth and surrounds. I was at Leeds University and we used to go walking/hiking all over the Dales.
M.E you have got my vote for a move to a sea view!:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Ok, I get the point, I've changed my deodorant so now you don't all have to run and hide when I come in, lol.
I seem to keep missing everyone, so I'll just say hello, hope your all having one of your good days, will try and catch up later.

Hello all (I was going to say 'Morning' then I looked at the clock
I have a little trip to the village today to collect a book from the library:j Its quite windy here but doesn't seem as cold as its been
laptop in here sounds a good idea, I'l be back with mine later - and the sea view gets my vote ME :T
I just read back through my post re avatars yesterday - hope I didn't sound smug or anything, didn't mean to and sorry if I did. Truth is I'm too [strike]old[/strike] [strike]fat[/strike] shy to put my photo up
Horace I am full of admiration for the way you're helping out. My bil bought some tree loppers years ago and my sis very foolishly went out and left the two of us to play unsupervised. By the time she got home we'd taken a big fir tree out not the one she wanted rid of though unfortunately Any mention of tree loppers in their house still gets us a good telling off about it
kp, it is quiet here, we'll just help ourselves to a cuppa and a bacon roll - back for a cake later!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
