  • BTW, to give you a giggle - Been told that when I was in A&E and they were asking me questions I was perfectly lucid and then out of the blue I would randomly say "Do you want a biscuit?"! :rotfl:What was that all about?!

bz hope the play lists got done or almost done so wont be hard to finish up today. have fun at other wedding and try to relax, df too.
No cuppas for me ta luv, I don't do brews!
The playlists got done last night apparently, while I was zzzz'ing it... unfortunately they've been compiled in the wrong program, so I'm wondering if we can fix that...
bz Dad rang about changing flight for some other time and they charge £50! But better than cancellling which would mean losing the whole lot. I demand you rest today and let people fan you and peel you grapes. morag is right - delegate and anything that doesn't happen, so be it. You'll still be Mrs BZ at the end of Sunday and happy as a sandboy; that's the most important thing.
Bless. £50's a bit steep! I would love to rest and be fanned etc, but I have b2b's wedding to go to soon :o It officially means it's the day before my wedding tho!! :j

I understand how you feel about the taxi man, but on the other hand, what if it's not just a one off..?

  • pcl How is Whitney doing on the new pills? So pleased that you haven't deserted us, I would have missed you. What are you doing up at silly o'clock?
i couldnt possibly desert you all, i would miss you guys far far too much, just that thread since i cant be on topic there according to the rules. whitney is doing much better on the pills, which hopefully are also going to solve the monthly to bimonthly trips for steroids and antibiotics too. she has even gone back to being miss demanding. i had an early shift starting at 6 so had to be up.
Being checked on in my mind didn't necessarily include being shaken awoke at 6.30am to see if I was OK, but he's worried, bless him. Stiffness setting in now which means I must be starting to heal? Apparently Police are coming sometime next week to take a statement from me. Feel a bit sorry for taxi driver who hit me as simple error could mean he loses licence and livelihood.

cripes that was very early, any chance of a nap to make up? have you written down what happened? might be easier to remember all now while its fresh, and might be useful to have in case you need to remember in months time if he ends up being taken to court or whatever. ikwym about feeling sorry for him, but it might not have been a simple error, he might have eg been over the limit or something or like bz said it could be one of many errors.

i always have squash and nearly always have diet coke as well as brews :) milkshake powder too for that matter... im excellent at forgetting that people who dont drink tea do exist.
hope you can fix the playlist easily enough.

  • why do banks never refuse to pay themselves when you dont have sufficient funds?

paw that was great that the car didnt come back with a big bill, really nice surprise. well done on the super mouse dealing, i never manage to pull that off, i tried when i bought this laptop and best i got was they would match the internet price, seems they look at me and laugh at my cheek.

bz hope last minute nerves and worry and missing df dont keep you awake tonight. it will all be fine tomorrow and will come together beautifully. have a fabulous day.
  • morag Thank you for the welcome. Lady Anne? Been watching The Tudors?! *g* Perlease explain are we talkiing company of the feline variety?

mean he loses licence and livelihood.

Right on both :D Lady Anne is around 5yrs and I got her on Sunday when her previous owner sadly died. She was a stray b4 that and named from the Richard III quote "I'll have her, but I will not keep her long" We have 2 so I'm playing musical cats trying to keep her in till she gets settled (hence litter tray) whilst letting them out - they normally use cat flap and are miffed

Hope the stiffness goes quick, very glad it was not worse.

pcl where did you get a friend that :A? I want one! Glad whitney is felling better enough to be demanding. Don't you love em ;)

bz hope you enjoyed the wedding today and will be thinking of you 2moro

Glad you are back paw well done on the keyboard. Did I read this right? You went into a VW main dealer and didn't get stung  I'm well impressed!

Arranged the funeral today (I'm executor) and staggered to discover that a cardboard coffin costs £35 more than wood. Why? Think I'll help myself to a White Russian and some choc. Sleep well all.

morag yes you read right,i went in to main dealer, they did test drive ..ramp .check all engine ,,check leaks...brain surgery (car that is ) all free. walked out with keys..friends thinks they have got my reg and will get arrested for running off ! some friends i have ! must say only few weeks ago some one tried to break in to car , broke plastic click in thing by handle . part was £4.00 i ask if would fit it ! they say ok ..( i know joints on edge badly damaged)..took them half an hour to do ..as had to take lock out and file down damaged edge and re fit.....FREE again ! think will have to let mot and service next year ..but feel a bit nervous to go there in a way !
