morag i would seriously disagree wiht you that your not bad enough for dla..if your entitled to a blue badge then your bad enough to get low rate dla. it doesnt matter if you dont get/require the care just that you could benefit form it, and a blue badge means you fit the mobility low rate at least. i only have a mental illness, and really feel like a fraud for claiming it sometimes,

Thanks for that. Please don't ever say the bit in bold, or even think it. To my mind mental illness can be every bit as serious as cancer - and a lot harder to diagnose and treat too.

What she said! Don't be dozy morag, I get DLA but not a blue badge lol.

Yep, guilty as charged :o and Like your style

Have I missed something? is whitney at the vets? hope she is home soon.

I've just crawled in for a nightcap and you're right, it is quiet - hope that means paw is fast asleep and all well with with the b2b.

I'm later than usual cos I've spent most of the day/eve on the phone telling people abt the funeral of lady anne's mum. Honey with my whisky for my horse throat :T
    Murphy was an optimist!!!
  • not so nice phone calls there morag, hope the totty helped the hoarse throat. you didnt miss anything (see below), i probably didnt manage to say in here, i left whitney at home while i came to my sisters for the night yesterday. she gave me such a look when i put stuff in the car as that usual means im gone for at least a few days so she will be pleased when i get home this evening. though im currently wishing i didnt have to drive home today. was much easier when i could just bring the cats with me, then i could stay longer if i cba to get myself home.

(im sure im posting but then i come back and either i havent or they have been removed, most likely i just thought i posted and didnt actually manage to).

bz did the playlist get sorted in the end? or does it have to be finished today? let df do all the runnign round liek a headless chicken today, or at least most of it if possible.

paw you ok? catch up on sleep form late night the other day?

i have a tassimo machine today to make tea or coffee :) who would like what?

Lol, sorry about that, I may've been a little too familiar there - I have a close friend called Morag too, y'see...:o

No, did it balls. We were up til like 3 or something too. I attempted to take myself off to bed at like 2.30 and fell up the stairs  Then I felt really sick so I got DF to make me some toast for me. Then eventually got to sleep... I fobbed off going for the flowers with the flower lady this morning onto DF, which is a good job as the flower lady gets rather agitated and anxious about doing the flowers (she normally only does the church flowers and/or silks) which rubs off on everyone else... I stayed in bed for a bit but kept getting phone calls so I gave up in the end...

So on the list today is to: go to b2b's rehearsal @ 6pm. Get cakey things for after ceremony and some tissues and take to church. Get lunch stuff for me and bms for sunday. do the playlists. make guides for all the ushers of what we need when. print top table sign.clean the house.
I'm not convinced it'll all be done personally, but I've started by bring washing in and out and put the bed sheets in. Can that be enough? Pwease? :o

  • Blimey BZ after all that you will neat a strong brandy and a warm bath (the type with the really nice bubbles in it!) - best of luck for the day!

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - the lack of sleep since the furry Dragon arrived caught up with me and I couldn't cope yesterday - to the extent that when Dr Dragon phoned for something I burst into tears down the phone! His work said he had the leave days so he could come home which he did and he tidied up the mess the furry Dragon had made and sent me to bed for a couple of hours
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

Wot she said, with bells, whistles and a pipe'n'drum band. Having had severe depression and anxiety probs since childhood, I totally agree.

'Course it can! Take some breathing space; it will all come together, you'll see. I have faith in you.

Lack of sleep's a killer, Dragon. Hope you're feeling better today, and enjoying your new furbaby.

I was at the Good Beer Guide local launch last night - wasn't sure I'd get online today. So frazzled, I couldn't sleep at all last night. :confused:It's always the same when I get dragged to "events".

Thank you :A I've found out more needs doing...not least because I now need to go to the emergency surgery at 4pm to see if I do indeed have sinusitis and need antibiotics, as I suspect  I might have to take my laptop to the church and carry on with the playlists while that's goin on. But then we need to come home in time to mee our German friends (who've come over for the wedding) and make sure they get booked into the hotel ok. I think tonight may be a late one.:o

From the anxiety perhaps? I find it a while to wind down from stressful things like that. And even "normal" people take time to wind down from being at work before they can sleep...and in a way things like that are "work" for people like us

ARGH!! Can I pwease have an influx of time?!
And DF's been very emotional today...even blubbed when he saw the (not even finished yet) church flowers! Bless him :A
