aww morag, they do sound sweet. they will get there with the settling in together now id say, give them all a scritch or two form me.

dont worry they cant get rid of us that easily but i for one am presuming that pms were sent complaining about my posts when opinions were asked for, and i really dont like this feeling that i ahve to censor everythign i say just in case someone takes offense or decides im being off topic again. and then im worrying that by posting in here im making other regulars here feel put out ....though you guys being so welcoming and friendly is overriding that. unfortunatly it doesnt take much to set me off on a everyone hates me and im not wanted train of thought even when im being logical and think im being rational lol

Goin to attempt some bed time now...SO tired. Still a fair few things to do, but now that downstairs is more tidy (thanks to DF) I feel bit better *yawns and rubs temples to try and soothe headache*

I know how you feel, I longed to post on the original fibro thread but didn't cos I don't have fibro - just a rotten back, nerve damage and mild CPOD. Plus I like the banter ratherthan the medical stuff.

This cafe was started as a chat thread, but never developed into friendships. Dragon, Paw and LW are the main regulers and all are welcome here afaik. I do hope bz updates here, I'm nosey!

What's CPOD?

I can inform you that I picked up the (remade) ties today and DF has just tried one on and declared it "perfect"!!:j FINALLY!!!!

Biggest thing left to do now is the playlists (which are split into sort of timeslots, or rather tempo slots - so all the slower mushier stuff is in the arvo for background music and the more upbeat dancier stuff is in the evening etc)...except I've yet to make the most of the unlimited music downloads from Nokia Music (got with mobile contract deal for free) and actually download all the tracks we don't have yet/need replacing as they're dodgy/not good quality recordings :rolleyes: It's gonna take a freakin age!!:o

Other than that I need to: pick up/out the flowers on fri morning, along with cakeyness for with the brews after the ceremony at the church (whilst photos goin on) and tissues (cos us blubberin wrecks'll need it!) and lunch stuff for me and bm's for on the day; finish the camera challenges for the kids; print out the reserved (for top table, ushers/registrar's/family members chairs); make sure we have a running order for the day; make sure the house is straight; pay the car guy & hairdresser on the day; set up the 3 buffet table vases and go through, with family members setting up the venue, what's required. I need to also find my silver chain that I want to wear, or blag one off mother to borrow, and check EVERYTHING - and that DF's done what he needed to do. Oh and hang and potentially steam the veil (and maybe bits of dress that have been squished up in the bag?)...but can't do that til DF goes to his hotel the night before.

Ta for asking paw. The back is worse than the COPD unless I get a chest infection. I feel a bit of a fraud on this board really cos although I'm bad enough for a blue badge, I'm no way near bad enough for DLA

Most of the time I'm fine if I limit myself/ pace myself (sound familiar?)

I'll join you in a hot choc - shall we lace it with Kaluah :cool:
