My tent is mahoosive, so you could be at one side and me at t'other we wouldn't hear each others snoring then.:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Glad to hear it G-J, hope the weather is nice for recuperation and all.:D
I sort of kicked Mr.B in the slats, suffice to say he woke up enough to realise there are two of us bashing away at debts and he also knows that if he stops slacking he will have a big old turnip shoved where the sun doesn't shine.:rotfl:
But i can't be mad on a day like today, just makes you happy to be alive when weather is great.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well update today. Not exactly a no spend day as glasses had to be bought. However was money saving and took advantage of offers,
So - free eye test, £20 M&S voucher, £30 voucher and NHS voucher for me, three for 1 pairs of glasses including sunglasses came to £110 for 3 pairs..not bad.Mine are for reading only as one eye which i have always had problems with is a tad blurry, long vision very good.
DD2- Same as the above with one pair of glasses having lens refitted, came to £132 as hers are a heavy precription.
But not too bad, although bad enough to have to pay out. I needed glasses because i have one arm off one pair and a pair of those readers which aren't exactly prescription but ok for reading instructions on back of pkt.
Slinks away skint but can't wait for my M&S VOUCHERS, which will total £40 for two referrals.
Oh and i moved my car payment date to the end of the month so won't be skint after paying out for glasses.
Now go out and enjoy lovely sunshine, i will as have to go out again in a bit and post brothers birthday card and it is my sisters birthday on Monday..hoping for a nice BBQ monday night.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Not sure yet Skinty as i may wait for sales and get some much needed clothes.
On the opticians front i can't praise them enough for their customer service, DD2 had a prescription from another one where she gets her diabetic retinopathy test. Anyway the optician noticed that the prescription varied quite a lot,so he re tested her eyes and they are nearly the same as the original. This can happen with diabetics( blood sugars variation or being poorly) and the other optician should have done this too, in fact i have suspicions that she may have tested after putting drops in ( the beggar) He is doing another test in two weeks and in all honesty they have saved me a fortune and DD2 feels better as the other optician was nasty to her when she had the eye drops in, she wouldn't go back and pick up the prescription so i did it for her and picked up the voucher.Good job really as it now means she will have her eyes sorted out and also we will have cheaper glasses!3 for 1! Certainly can't say they are in it for the money -unlike the other over priced swindlers.
Oh and Tesco sent me an e mail saying i had £9.50 of unused vouchers which they have re credited to my account..happy days. Apparently it was when i merged cards, lucky for me eh.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
