:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Cheered me up that has.
Been a lousy morning dosh wise.Mr.B informed that he has forgotten that his car was due an MOT and service..£300 later_pale_combine that with my car needing taxing and found a cheap Mot/service deal that is another £160 and car payments( i had budgetted for this, just not his car)..just pass me the bucket now:o Is DD2's 18th on Monday and the party budget has just gone. I feel sick:o
Will have to see what i can sell as it is really important to me to celebrate her birthday, She has been through so much in her life that not to ..well i would rather cut my right arm off..put it that way.
So off to fiddle the budget and if necessary dust off a credit card.:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Thanks ISOM, I'm getting there! I'm particularly skint at the moment and it's soooo tempting to just ignore the budget but I'm trying to behave myself...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Oh Bob, I'm sorry to hear about the party budget needing to be spent on the cars..... what a b*gger..... my visit to your thread started so well too, with Pepe's poem to Shaun, which is brilliant. But this is horrible for you. Can Mr B do any of the work on the car himself? I may be showing my ignorance here, what with not having a car ..... sorry.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

An ode to MrBob*
bobby had a husband
his name was Mr Bob
He was really s*** with money
But at least he had a job!
Mrs bob despaired
Cos he was never prepared
To sort his flipping money
And just like mrs bob we think that
mate, its just not funny!
So how about you get in line
And act more like a grown up
Sort your cash and most of all
You should just try to own up!
Stop hiding credit cards
With your head in the sand..
Its not going away
Why dont you understand?
We love our bob, we surely do
But our hearts go out with frustration...
having to deal with you!
We wish that there lightbulb
Would even just glimmer
Cos if it just wont
We're just gonna simmer!
So help us this easter
Would you please mr bob
To sort out your money
And help with the dosh!
Mrs bob she is tired
Of soring it all out
While you just spend it again
And apparently on nowt!
So sort it please mr bob
Or punishment will be
A grand turnip lobbing
Right toward thee!!
