I am seriously thinking that the best thing for him would be a debt management plan as he would have to budget then and stop relying on credit cards..all the extra monies we have could genuinly be going off debt instead of him kidding himself:o

Why don't you got for that? He's sure to resist, but tell him it's either see CCCS, or Relate - and Relate charge.

Thanks Beanie and squizz. The weird thing is that i do feel responsible in a way..if that makes sense:o I am not very good at carrying out my threats..i have lost count over the past couple of years how many times i have told him..each time i give in and he gets another chance, which is probably why he is a sneaky sh*t at times.

So hopefully we can pull out of this and in a way it is a good thing when stuff comes to a head..a bit like squeezing a massive zit:eek: :rotfl:

  • aww hugs bob...I do think (the more time goes on) that men are a bit like kids so as with parenting you need to carry out threats or they become empty and they know theyll get away with it. Can totally understand why you are so hacked off...hope you deal with it head on and manage to get somewhere...do you want me to set bob on him?

Petrol has been going back up a bit - not sure why! ok, probably not £60 worth. I'm sensing he may be a bit resistent to the DMP but I hope he has his own wee LBM soon, not sure what would prompt it though.

Hi BOB ...I do sympathise with you and don't know what the answer is.Maybe his interest rate on MBNA has gone up...a DMP may be a good idea as he can't have any credit then...love the valentines verse though.
  • Cheers everyone, have had a good old tackle as soon as he came through the door tonight..lol.

MBNA haven't put his interest rate up and he hasn't spent on it.(Ithink or so he says)they have just varied the DD for some reason...totally evil they are..and he should have checked the statement properly. This is some of the problem.

I may have some more valentine verses tomorrow..but been chilling on youtube with 80's music..feel calm and a bit of whitesnake always does it for me. So talking of luurve as it is nearly valentines day.

    Resistance is futile eh?:rotfl:

I am making him fill out the debt remedy if only to wake him up a bit. I am also showing him the snowball calculator again:rolleyes: so he can take his pick.

Maybe this will be the final result..without the naked bit of course..
