Poor MrB.....makes a perfectly reasonable excuse, NO!....gives a perfectly reasoned answer showing his understanding of the delicacies of household equipment and, knowing how deeply attached Bob is to her Dyson, he didn't want to cause any damage.....and gets laughed at!

  • aww thats soooooo funny! Typical man not to admit that he was wrong too eh!! numpty! Them there cc's are worrying arent they eh! What I dont get is why the rates are going up so much when interest rates are at the lowest rates ever!! Plus do feel that the cc co's are pushing to the point where it gets too much...
Anyway...hope you have a great day!

I know what you mean ISOM. Mr.B has a Crapital 1 card, they sent him a lovely letter the other day..

    Dear Mr.B

As a [STRIKE]mug[/STRIKE]valued customer we are giving you one of the following options.
    a) Stay on your current excellent rate:rolleyes: and no longer use the card Or
    B) We will let you use the card but are putting it up to the new better rate of 34.5% APR.

As you are aware in the current economic climate every penny counts so we are giving you advance notice so you can budget for the extra changes:eek:

    Yours sincerely

    Rip off merchants...you mug!

So there you have it.Of course it galvanised Mr.B into great flurries of inaction..he merely thought..i am off in three weeks time so will deal with it then as my icckle brain hurts from car cleaning (this was two weeks before, he has to plan)So he has formulated a plan..errr nothing and he will of course write a letter back..

    Dear Crapital 1,

Thankyou for calling me a valued customer:D You are such lovely people and ever so considerate to put me on a better rate. I do so love building up a huge amount on credit cards and will continue to support your efforts to remain afloat in this current economic climate.
    I will be
    a) Spending on dumbass things you will be pleased to hear..it does so annoy the missus, but i consider car valeting to be of the upmost priority in these dire times..and what's an extra 35% on top when someone knows how to weld a suction hose;)
b)I would love to budget, but that's the missus's dept.I of course give her plenty of advance notice after i have spent things..honestly i don't know what she moans about..

Please feel free to continue charging me exhorbitant rates, for the use of credit..after all i now know that this is what i was born to do and i am your ideal customer.

Yours gratefully ( as MRS B has cut my pocket money:o )

    Mr.B dumbass:D,

So there you have it how to win customers and uninfluence people:cool:

Other than that will be doing the usual stuff, writing letters to counteract Mr.B, and of course online banking, no bingo as have to deposit and i don't think an empty sweet wrapper counts:confused:

Have a good day everyone. Bob x

You do of course have a point, however, i wasn't there at the time and the neighbours were laughing..one of whom is a man perfectly familiar with how to use a Dyson..sounds so wrong that:rolleyes: He was trying to spare Mr.B's blushes, plus it is akward to clean a car and get into all those nooks and crannies with a full hoover..still he is ever optomistic:rotfl: He was unable to accept help from DS who is very good at cleaning and is regularly seen using attachments..err sounds wrong again but you know what i mean:D

Still he does have added value for entertainment stakes..i am waiting to see what he does when we have to lay the path..the mind boggles:eek: :rotfl:

For Gods Sake Bob.....dont let him near anything that COMBINES water and electricity or, if you do, get the Life Insurance out.
I can hear you now Bob....'Mr B, my love, could you shampoo the carpets pleeeeease?'
