I tend to weeble at mo rather than wobble:rotfl:

Hi Bob
Sorry you're down.... and unappreciated. I certainly appreciate you! This is the first thread I've headed to when I logged on just now. Yikes at the snow .... here, there are a few rainstorms, but I did get half an hour out in the garden - no more dog poo! Throwing a quiet wobbly with the neighbour seems to have worked, for now! More cutting back, and putting the strongarm on the ivy that wants to take over the top bit .... must plant stuff! must plant stuff! Do you know what I can plant that provides ground cover in the shade? Thats not ivy? Next time I'm out there, I'll do some more on the little veg patch to be.
Sorry to waffle. Anyway, hope DD is back soon from college, and you can admire the snow together - thats a lovely image, actually. Enjoy while you can.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Have you had a 'next doors dog poo in the garden prob' Karma?
We had that with a German Shepherd poo-ing in on the lawn....and then he brought his dog as well!:rotfl::D stay wonky

I am just a touch down, possible Post Flu/stinky virus aftermath..kids appreciate me and my friends do and of course lovely folk on here..although i can't virtually iron:rotfl: I don't know what happened..it just all poured out:o
Glad you got the dog mess sorted..we have some neighbours like that as well:mad:
Lol at Pepe though:rotfl:
The snow is *beautiful* and even though we live fairly close to Mway the noise is muffled and is very quiet always think of 'Frost at Midnight ' poem in this weather:D Before it went dark we were watching a Robin just hopping about in and out of the bushes, was so serene.
I will be more upbeat as week goes on. Promise..dibdibdib:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

possibly the being down might have something to do with lack of sleep too Bob? Hope you are feeling a bit more up soon. I came home early because of the snow where I work but there's none here - there was enough left on the car to throw at DS when I picked him up though!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: He protested that there's no wonder he always has a cold when that's the way he's treated! awwwww....:rolleyes:Mortgage OP 2025 £6000/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Thanks Beanilou, i just thought i sounded like a bitter old bag then..but i meant every word!Surprising when you write it down just how much you supress stuff at home. I suppose i am mad because i have had the cold shoulder all weekend for daring to suggest he take a long hard look at his budget and put as much as possible onto his 0% card
Oh and i am in the wrong for trying to get some sleep as well..Sometimes i just can't win and he does my head in. Bitter old bag alert again..lol
If you get into a cycle of "I don't praise him because he doesn't praise me because I didn't praise him because he didn't appreciate me...etc..etc..." it becomes rather messy and often bitter. It's best to go back to the basics:
He ironed. Do you want it to happen:
a/ More often.
b/ Less often.
Having decided that - which one of:
1/ Praising him.
2/ Not praising him.
3/ Slagging him off.
