    That is weird.
I'm on Winter Hill if it makes a difference.

Took a good half hour to download it all too.

Same for me, I'd tried yesterday too just in case.

    BBC1 I think.

    What difference would that make?

    Now on v1.4(UK)00
I've tried MUX1 and MUXB and there is no upgrade available from version 1.1. What version of software did you have before the upgrade, 1.0 or 1.1?

I've noticed that the upgrade search does not take very long if you have the 'NO SIGNAL' fault. It takes a lot longer after a reboot when all channel data is available. This could suggest that the upgrade may not be found when the 'NO SIGNAL' fault is present, so a reboot may be necessary prior to a manual upgrade search.

Well, it didn't fix the ITV1 sound problem!

That's probably why they've released it on Winter Hill - to see if it does fix it. That doesn't bode well for the rest of us. If they think it isn't solving the problem, they may not go live next week.

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't come and tell us you've got a 'No Signal'! That was the one thing they were supposed to have solved and what those of us away from Winter Hill are all waiting for!

I was looking for an explanation why you got it and the rest of us didn't. Some older boxes only downloaded from the mux associated with the current channel, and your reply ruled this out. I went and tried Mux b anyway, still nothing.

He has 1.4, the version that was pulled for the PVR101 because it still had the sound bug. I can't think of any other explantion why the rest of us can't get it, but I'm suprised they can select which transmitters its broadcast from. I'm expecting next Friday's version to be 1.5 or higher, but we'll have to wait and see. Hopfully DTG will update their page on Monday so we know what version to expect on Friday.

You right, that would be worrying!

I'm on Winter H as well and have just tried downloading and none was available.

I have V1.1, was tuned to BBC1 and had no 'no signal error' at the time.

    marsha11's right.

    I'm on Winter Hill.
I tried a scan and it found nothing BUT only took about 10 seconds (I'd been having the NO SIGNAL problem)
I powered the PVR101 off and on and tried again.
This time the scan took about 3 minutes - but still didn't find an upgrade :(

Is there an easy way to tell which channels are on which MUXs please?

BBC1 is on Mux1 and BBC4 is on Mux b

    See http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/terrestrial/mux/

Hopefully the PVR101 is smart enough to find the upgrade whatever channel its on though.

Still strange one person got the upgrade and not the rest of us. Roll on Friday.
