Upgrade delayed again! It's now provisionally scheduled for 8th March0

Absolutely typical, I can almost guarantee it will go ahead on these dates as I away and therefore will have to rely on the auto update, did anyone manage to get this to work on the last one? What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Someone asked me this recently - "how can I ensure it will upgrade becuase I'm away and it might hang". The only answer I could think of was to put the PVR on a timeswitch and set the switch to be off for half an hour at 9am and 9pm each day. That way the PVR will get rebooted twice a day and give it the best chance possible to upgrade.
Make sure automatic updates is "on" of course!0 -
DTG are trying to pack in more update slots into a week now - 4 slots next week on Mux B instead of the normal two.
The PVR101 update on the 8th  is only (provisionally) scheduled on Mux B.0 -
"NO SIGNAL" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:0

Oh dear. I'm starting to feel less optomistic by the day. Maybe the further delay means they've done more work on the release. The fix for "winter hill" actually involved removing a software incompatibility, so there is a chance.0 -
Lost all recordings.
No space on hard drive.
The machine appears to be switching itself off and then on every 10 secs.
(Flicks up BBC2 for some reason)
So now can't even watch Freeview.
Reformatting hard drive and/or rebooting make no difference.
PVR101 unplugged and back in its box.
This box has been a complete waste of time.
