Anyone else got the EPG times 1 hour ahead since the clocks went forward?
Now when I go to record anything from the Programme guide I have to reset the times! Its a mess.
    PS
I have had the No Signal problem since the upgrade, also a total crash of the system which lost me all my recordings!

I think the EPG should correct itself as it repopulates.

Anyone know the answer to this?
Does anyone know how to edit the recorded programme name ie "Premier - The Piano" I just want to delete "Premier" without typing "The Piano" over the top of it all.

I couldn't find a delete or backspace key in the 'rename save prog' area.
Most of the other keys, yellow for delete prog etc.. still work (so be careful)
The best I could come up with was to press '0' 6 times to replace any unwanted characters with a ' ' (space)

Yup - got the same problem here. Most annoying, although I thinks its the EPG menu broadcasters fault - unless the PVR cant sync with it - although it automatically recognised the time change. Funnily enough the EPG was ok on Monday but from Tuesday onwards has been out - especially on C4.

Since the latest upgrade I've had about three total lock ups when the timer record has come on, or been on and I have tried to watch something or play a recorded program...

People must generally be pleased with the upgrade as the thread has seriously slowed down.

Has anybody tried archiving stuff to disk on DVD recorder yet as I was thinking of getting one for this very purpose and wondered if anybody had had success?

    Tried a different aerial?

Now who sounds like Key?? As you have already said, it seems a strange coincidence that my aerial AND the PVr went at the same time!

I bought a Cyberhome DVD player from Asda for about £68 to do just that. It is really easy, set the pvr playing, press record and away you go. The Cyberhome creates it’s own menus and chapters and works very much like a Video recorder. It needed a bit of experimenting at first because I was getting a band running from left to right across the screen. Changing from RGB to composite cured that and now the picture quality on the DVD’s is superb. It all has to be done in real time of course but if you record whilst you watch you can edit out the adverts etc by pausing the recording. You can also set the quality level, High Quality gives an hour per disc, Standard gives 2 hours and the difference is really unnoticeable. Actually, they say 2 hours but it seems to be more like 1 hour and 55 mins so presumably some of the disc is used for lead ins and lead outs etc I tried putting 3 40 minute programmes on a disc but ran out of space about 36 minutes into the last one which is very frustrating but at least now I know about that so won’t try it again. You can even fit something like 6 hours on in super long play mode.
I record quite a lot of Radio programmes so my next job is to record over onto my mini disc player or I may even look for a sound card with a digital input and try that. I recorded the Ramones session from Radio 6 on Thursday and can’t wait to get it onto CD to play in the car.
My main gripe now is that the PVR still jumps when there is a moment of black screen, it’s almost like the PVR thinks there is nothing recorded so skips it. Another gripe is still that the volume is way too low. I have to set the volume on the TV to about 60%, okay until the next time you turn the TV on and almost deafen yourself because the PVR hasn’t kicked in.
Since the upgrade I think the Technotsosonic has become a great little tool and I am more than happy with it especially when combined with the DVD recorder.

Mines actually unusable now except as a Freeview box!

Anybody tried the Goodmans equivalent box as I think I will be taking a trip to Aldi?
