I used to get lock up on standby but now its seems fine, just this false signal that forces through to the TV.0

Things just seem to get worst - whereas before I was getting a blocky picture and broken speach - guess what - I am now getting no signal again!!! I am really sorry to have to give up on this box as I think it is the best looking one on the market but I am sorry to say that now it is having to go back. I have done a reboot, a first time installation, turning on and off when the blocky picture occurs but to no avail. Bye Bye PVR 101 RIP.0

Oh dear. Think we experienced a new problem last night!
Was watching Frost on time slip and the replay froze. Managed to get sound back but picture still fixed solid. Played around with several buttons and eventually got it back to normal - not sure what worked!
Then tried to 'rewind' to where it first froze and ----whoops----a green screen and no sound! Pressed lots of buttons to try to recover something but only succeeded in getting it into 'fast forward' (still with a green screen) which kept going until it had caught up with the live broadcast.
Is this a first or has anyone else had something like it?0 -
Had a similar thing last night. Timeslipping Jonathon Ross which froze when a timer record started. As i had time slipped 20 minutes in it wouldnt do anything so missed the last 20 minutes. I actually the Fusion last night from Argos so will give that a tryout then take the Technosonic back to ALDI tomorrow. Enough is enough.0

Yes, but even worse. Paused for 20 minutes and then tried to Play. Unit locked up completely with no response from ANY buttons. Had to Power Cycle (first time for months). This is a serious problem as you have no warning that you are going to lose part of a programme and take corrective action. Fortunately I had also recorded the programme as a back-up and the recording up the the point of lock-up was OK. Prior to the update Timeslip was totally reliable once the No Signal bug had allowed you to view a programme. The performance is now much less predictable. Bring back 1.1 I say!!!!

Cheer up my humax has locked up 3 times in as many days. Other owners are suspecting something to do with the commonwealth games and the bbc, but could be sunspot activity or aliens.0

Anyone else got the EPG times 1 hour ahead since the clocks went forward?
Now when I go to record anything from the Programme guide I have to reset the times! Its a mess.
PS
I have had the No Signal problem since the upgrade, also a total crash of the system which lost me all my recordings!0 -
My Humax has been locking up regularly too...
Maybe I need an Aldi one instead, any ideas why the Humax is locking up? Once or twice on the commonwealth games, the BBC channels seemed to be doing strange things, like the first digital channel being inaccesible0
