Yes, when playing back a recording if i alter the volume with the TV remote, for instance, playback stops. A few other buttons have the same effect. yet it only seems to conflict with the PVR on playback only. The TV is a Schneider. Thanks for all you have done regarding this PVR.

The rewind button on my Goodmans DVD player remote turns the PVR on from standby, which changes the TV picture from DVD to the PVR. But I then have to use the PVR remote to turn it back off again. This didn't seem to happen before the 1.5 update.

Heres a new one: done automatic search for new channels and found out all my programs to be recorded list had vanished. This did not happen with v1.0 or 1.1

Update: have since repeated this to check it was not a one off.

I'm starting to think Technosonic/Key owe me a few pints.

I've had *lots* of emails over the last 36 hours.

Mostly reporting the continued existence of bugs, and a few new ones. Mostly they seem to be "annoying" more than critical, with the exception of the remote-control code conflict with anything using philips codes.

Several emails from people who's units find, but won't install the update (the common thing appears to be they are on 1.0 not 1.1 to start with). I think I have a plan for this.

Several people who can't record after the update. IIRC these have all been fixed by doing a "first time installation" now.

A work around for this: before any new automatic search go to your timer list and press < or > to delete each recording. Do an automatic search then go back to your now empty timer list press < or > for each occasion of a timed recording and they will all reappear BUT they will now all be for BBC 1 so just input actual channel number. Not sure if just using the EPG would be easier but at least this way you get some idea of what you already had scheduled to record.

I've just turned the PVR on (it's been on standby since last night) and got the "NO SIGNAL" banner straight away!

    Had to reboot.

    Oh dear.

Is is defintely on 1.5? The reason I ask is that several people have done the upgrade, it looks like it completed OK, but they the units report version 1.0

It would be interesting if anyone who gets a No Signal banner sets the channel to Instant Record. This should give an indication as to whether it is a spurious No Signal indication (it should record unless they have changed the functionality in 1.5) or it is a genuine loss of signal in which case it won't record. Not a conclusive test though as the Instant Record will use the "record" tuner whereas the No Signal banner is reporting the "watch" tuner. May also be worth setting the same channel to "Pause". Prior to 1.1 this used to work and the programme could be watched from the point it was paused when the No Signal condition recovered. Maybe that functionality has been restored?
