just been picking up some tips on this old thread
can i just ask though, can you not flush the toddler wipes that say you can? i wouldnt put baby wipes down the loo0 -
I don't know this for sure, but I think this trend towards thicker softer toilet paper has led to an increase in callouts for blocked toilets. And I'm sure toddler bum wipes wouldn't be helping that process.Signature removed for peace of mind0

my dd has just turned six and I bin underwear weekly due to poor bum wiping. Its just another hurdle to get over. Mind you its led to some messy situations ie my standing in a stray poo on our stairs. My dd told me that it just fell out!. Another time she sat on my dh pillow without underwear after being for a number two. He found out after resting his little head that night.:rotfl:
Im really immature over thease things and it makes me chuckle every time I think of of the above. Kids eh:o!.0 -
I'm still struggling with my 11 year old son (still struggling to get him assesed for ASD). It's resulting in name calling and bullying at school, but he just seems unable to change. I know sometimes the toilet paper doesn't even get used, it is so frustrating.......
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
My DS who is 6 in April this year CAN wipe his bum himself and actually do a good job of it when he's in the right frame of mind  BUT he refuses to go for a no2 whilst at school- he holds it in till he get home..some days he literally runs through the door pulling his trousers and pants down :rotfl: No matter what I say,he just won't go at school. Once, not long ago, I picked him up at home time and immediatley knew he'd not been succesful at holding it in,he absolutley stunk and Im sure his friends and his teacher must have been able to smell it!love my little man he is amazing :j0

According to my children, it is social suicide to do a number 2 at school
.
DD's aged 17 and 15 say that the thought of someone 'hearing' you go is what puts them off, and DS (12) said the main problem is that by going into the cubicles, everyone knows that's what you are going to do, or you'd use the urinals.
I think they have now trained themselves not to need to go between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday :rotfl: .
PS - DD1 managed not to go for 5 days at the Reading Festival is August as the toilets were so horrific :eek:0
