i think we're coming around to the maldives or seychelles.
getting there on the sunday still seems to be a problem
also the one we fancy on thomson is just short of £6000
max budget is probably £4000 although i'd like to spend far less
    where in the maldives?

You won't be going to SSH, It's all booked up for the winter.

And if you did get a late deal etc it would be over 700.00 each.

We are going in Dec and we have paid 594.00 each and we booked in Jan.

    So your answer is NO.

rubbish. i was just looking at that very resort. expect to pay £500-£600 all incl. choice of dates around 9 Nov.

Agreed punkrjb. Sharm el sheikh would be ideal, especially if you like scuba diving (or want to give it a go) as well.

I had a fantastic holiday to Antigua in November a couple of years ago. We stayed all inclusive at the Grand Pineapple Beach which I believe is now owned by sandals (but wasn't at the time). The weather was fantastic and the location ideal...RIGHT on the beach! It is not overcrowded at this time of year, (though it will be at capacity over christmas/newyear), yet the weather is beautiful.

There is plenty availability for Sharm in November and as has been mentioned around the £500-£600 mark so god knows where you got the idea it was all booked up :rotfl:

What about South Africa, lovely time of year and plenty of places to go. Hotels in Cape Town can be as basic or extravagant as you like or you could go on Safari, gorgeous game parks.

The other thought is to do a cruise, never done one myself but I know they are starting to aim them at a younger generation.

The other thing to consider is to go somewhere shorthaul like Lanzarote in a really nice hotel, or even better private villa, and then have a splash out holiday next year when you have more time to find something.

    Hope this helps
