Ok, if you fancy somewhere a bit different, I can recommend the Cape Verde islands. If you want to be adventerous you can go island hopping and spend days on the beach topping up the tan

There are flights from Manchester, and its worth doing some research on where to go and what to see. You can lazy on lovely beaches(though don't forget this is the Atlantic so the water can be cold!) or explore the volcanic interior

You get a great mix of Portuguese and African culture, locals that friendly, helpful and very welcoming, and a set of island yet untouched by huge mass tourism.

    What for the 9th Nov??

I don't think you will find anything so soon, If you do then it would be too much for you to pay.

Better waiting till after the xmas 'nutmeg' season and book for next year.

Put the money to pay your mortgage instead.

You won't be going to SSH, It's all booked up for the winter.

And if you did get a late deal etc it would be over 700.00 each.

We are going in Dec and we have paid 594.00 each and we booked in Jan.

    So your answer is NO.

i know i shouldn't have left it so late and will have to pay over the odds.. will prob pay up to £1500 each.

to the above poster- where would i see cape verde island flights

what i'm finding is a lot of the flights are midweek as the season has finished for many places...
