    Hello,

I'm new to MS and have just this week done my first ever assignment. It was for a pizza place for GAP. I did the assignment this week and did the report the same evening as well (took ages to get my scanner to work properly!).

I've received an email from them (arrived very late Sat night), which asks me to elaborate on the following: "The level of customer service you received from the staff members. Please provide details".

They go on to say that if I don't reply, I won't be paid (although they don't say how long I have to reply).

Should I just describe how the two people that served me acted? Whether they smiled or not? What do they mean my the LEVEL of customer service? Just good/bad/indifferent?

Sorry if it's a really stupid question, I've only just started this and really want to be paid so I'm not out of pocket on what should have been my first job!

You have 24 hours to reply.

Just write a few general sentances on the customer service and that should keep them happy.

Something like "Overall, the level of service was good. All members of staff were polite and cheeful, taking a positive approach to their work. I was not thanked after paying, but was wished a pleasant goodbye."

Very strange - I know there's a few women on here that did them as I've advised before when people have been nervous of what to do. Having said that, there haven't been any show up for me at all this month and that particular shop isn't currently showing.... Was this recently - hope they haven't taken them off us!

When GAP had phoned me a couple of weeks back to do see if I could do an urgent assignment for them I asked about the red ones and they said that there was no MS for them in November.

Thanks for that - hopefully they're gearing up for Xmas - I remember doing loads between Xmas & NY of these.

I guess RE phones are going to red hot tomorrow!

I did a shop at a restaurant for them and the service was appalling! They forgot I was in the restaurant, waited over 30 minutes for my order to be taken, then waited over 45 for the starter (was advised when it was brought to my table they had been a fire and the staff were evacuated - they left us customers in the restaurant and no alarm sounded!), then whilst waiting for my main, a man came in and stole a diners handbag, the staff had spoke to the guy - eek! And then like the starter my main was only luke warm. It said I couldn't make a complaint in the restaurant in the notes if there was a issue, but to let RE know. I know the restaurant discounted my meal quite well, but it doesn't make any difference tome, as the restuarant is paying for the meal. Including travelling there and back and all the delays in the restaurant and filling the form it was 2AM!!!!

Do you think I can class this as cause to raise a complaint?
I don't want to be seen as a trouble maker, but when I called on Friday I was told the allocator who deals with them was off and when I advised what had happened, the person said - wow, what a nightmare!

I have done loads of assignments but not sure about complaining, it's just it was in total nearly 5 hours between the visit and paperwork, just for a cold meal I did'nt finish to be refunded, with not even a fee to soften it.
(I know it was my choice to accept without an additional fee, but it works out ok when no cooking or anything at home), but I could have done nearly a full days work for a very very poor meal and visit.

    Thanks in advance!
