Hi all, I wonder if someone could help. I've recently signed up with a few MS sites, but so far have only done a couple of assignments for RE.
My question is: can you take your kids when you do visits, for example when I go and do them whilst DS is at nursery and DD is asleep in buggy. I have seen on some that it says specifically NOT to take any children, but what if it says nothing? Can I take them? Especially with banks etc.
With GR for example, you can't read the assignments notes until you have accepted (is that right?) so I don't want to accept only to find out that I can't take her.
It would be great if someone could shed some light please?
    cheers isi

some will explicitly say dont but in general i would also stick to that rule. Service times, your attention and the service you get may be affected by bringing the little ones, If the company gets a bad result and check cctv they will blame that if they can and then you may get bumped by the agencies.

I'm doing a mother's day flowers assignment for edigital, and in the 'search' section it says I should use three different search methods. Does anybody know what exactly is meant by this? Do they mean using product codes and things like that too?

It means looking for the item in three different ways.

Suppose the website was a clothing store and you wanted to find a little black dress.

1 - you could type "little black dress" in the keyword search
2 - you could click on the "dresses" category
3 - you could click on the "evening wear" suggestions

Hope that's helpful and you can think of different ways how you might search for the item you need to buy.
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks Becles! When they said "search" I took it very literally and assumed it meant only using the search box - I tend to think of clicking on categories as "browsing" rather than "searching". Thanks for clearing that one up!

I've found that is tends to depend on the MS company (or sometimes specific clients). I've often taken my son with me for GR jobs, and have even mentioned them in the write up (e.g. when an employee went to open the door for the buggy or took time to chat to my son), and have not had any negative feedback.

There are some bank jobs for GFK atm that specifically say not to bring any children with you, so I'm doing those ones when my husband is at home to look after our son or if he is at nursery. There was one MS company that said not to bring anyone with you on any jobs, so didn't finish signing up for that one, sorry can't remember which one it was. TNS maybe?

I've taken my son with me on many Gap jobs, and never had any come back, even when one store was trying to discredit my report (ridiculously bad service in a PC store), there was no issues with my having my son in a buggy with me. So I think Gap are happy with children accompanying, unless the brief says otherwise (I think the burger ones forbid it, but as I'm veggie they don't come up for me anyhow).

Have fun MSing, it works well for me, gives me some interesting outings when I'm at home with my children. I've eaten out free 3 times this week, nice work if you can get it!

Well b*****r me. My numpty colleague who did her 1st RE visit and did the report all in CAPITAL flaming letters and did her 2nd last night now has a Spanish tapas place tomorrow.

And moi I have never had one. Though she said she picked it up at 7am today. I didn;t know they put jobs on at that time.

She just phoned me there thinking I am Miss Wunderbarcolleague who put her onto this.

I am glad for her though. Lucky git.
