Has anyone had anything from RM recently? I had a few jobs with them, but I've not had a call for a while now.

I had a call on Monday - it was a job for a cut & blow - (had to watch how I worded that!) but I like the haidresser I've got, & didn't want to risk using anyone else!!

That's the first time in months I've heard from them, whereas I did regular work over a few months earlier in the year.

I asked if they had changed the way they allocate jobs now - if we now have to look on a website & choose etc., but she said no, that they still phone or text people, it's just that they look at very specific locations, & if it looks like you're too far away, they don't tend to get in touch.

Thinking about it, all the ones I've done for them have been fairly local. She said just to give them a ring every so often to see if there's anything. I've now told her all the areas I can get to, so may hear from them more often!

I got the haircut one a couple of weeks ago, not the best cut, but as I've not been able to afford ot go for about 6 months, I don't mind!!! Will give them another week or so and then will call again!

My hairdresser would kill me if I went to anyone else! I'm lucky in that she comes to the house now, & charges me next to nothing, though it grows so quickly she's here every 3-4 weeks! I used to model for loads of hairdressers, & my poor Mum & Dad used to say "What the heck style have you got now?!!" I'd reassure them that it would grow soon!

I liked the Optician & Travel Agent jobs with RM - don't know if they still do them or not.

I had an optician the other month which was quite good, although made me want new glasses!

Please quantify how you can make £100 per week. I assume that's before tax?

How many jobs is that?

I have done a Pizza job for them on 3rd of August but have not been paid yet.

I did 2 credit card assignments and a pizza one for FF at the start of August and still waiting for payment.
I have done assignments for them during four seperate months this year and the payment gets later each month.
I have emailed about this month's but had no reply which is the most annoying thing - even if it is just to say there is a delay, they should at least have the decency to reply.
I've stopped accepting assignments because the pizzas cost £20 and I can't afford to be £20 out of pocket for what is now almost 3 months.
The original terms on the website state payment is made at the end of the month during which assignment is completed - i.e. for assignments in August payment should be made at end of september. There is a banner on the website that says August payments are to be made 'circa 20th October' but the fact that its now 31st and its not in my bank yet is ridiculous.

For the Hotel jobs there are 140 Q's, no fee, no mileage, the expense is a "contribution" and now you cannot earn hotel points.
I won't be doing those again unless I really need to have hotel room.

The majority of jobs RE now have are really not good value at all when time taken to complete is compared with fee and any perk obtained.

I had read them, over & over, but it just wasn't sinking in. My problem being I was actually doing the visit in my head an arrived at timimg point 1&2 at the same time.
Your expaination has helped me.
