You can get the IBAN and Swift nos from your bank. These are required when receiving / or sending payments abroad.

I know that on Natwest statements, you can see them on the statement; it's been a while since I saw one but I think it's along the bottom.

I have done them before Loolabell and doing 2 more tomorrow. They are easy peasy.

Is that the digital ones or the phone shop?? ;)

:rotfl: That's so funny :rotfl: As an added incentive, I will give £5 to anyone who does and runs away of the store and down the street with their arms flying about in the air!

:rotfl: :rotfl: , well if we aren't allowed to reveal ourselves im thinking about doing that :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • I did 3 of these black envelope ones around the middle of last year and we were allowed to say that we were Mystery Shoppers and "Congratulations for recommending XXX phone, you have been awarded a prize". Funny that they've changed it. Is it with TNS? The prize was really good too. It was a £50 voucher for a department store.

This isn't a criticism of you at all, but that's ridiculous too as the stores which sell multiple brands of phone are meant to be independent and unbiased regarding network providors; the one which has been around the longest actually "prides" itself on this....

I very much agree. It's not a criticism of the mystery shopper but the actual scenario.

If the job came from the phone retailer then this is quite disconcerting and a worry.

If it came from the phone manufacturer like Nokia, LG, etc, then it's still disconcerting but I'm not as bothered as I'm sure the chance of speaking to a mystery shopper will be so slim that you can't really push an unsuitable phone.

Of course I've not actually done one of these so unless the brief said "your aim is to buy a XXX phone which has this following unique selling point...." then the above doesn't really matter!
  • I remember with Bare, I did a few shops for them where I had to go to a few stores, and see if a certain brand of phone was recommended, with an emphasis on a few models but this seemed to be more, "Are they recommending our phones" rather than "We've told them to recommend this, are they doing as they've been told" IYSWIM.
  • :D Just sent an email regarding the black envelope...... guess what have now been told that brief has changed to.........

Congratulations! You have been awarded for successfully
recommending the Nokia 5800 mobile telephone”

I would rather do that than just hand it over and run :rotfl: :rotfl: , quite like to be there when they open it and see there face.........:o
  • Seriously, I sometimes really like the certificate bit; one kid at a pub was only 16-18 and did everything so well I was sure he knew I was the MSer but to see his little face when I gave him the certificate; he had no idea at all and was scared when I asked for the manager as he thought I wasn't happy. It made my week. :D
