Sorry, 'lurk' a lot, but don't post much.
Loolabell - You didn't mention how you got on at the interview thing with ABa, I've been invited to one as well, just wondered what it was like and how you got on, was it worth going to?
    Sorry for being nosey.

Hi yeah it was fine, to be honest i have doing MS for a while and they basically went over what they wanted/expected from you....thay give you a pack with loads of info, the woman Sally was really nice and helpful, they do a few things slightly different such as allocation of jobs/car allowance £per day/

It was a good day and only took about 2 hours!

    When is your meeting?

Sorry didnt get chance to come in last night, I work for a small business used my work email and had no problem with it.

Nads it takes a little while for them to validate the work details you use, the first time they rejected mine - said my email wasnt real, so I redid the form and it went through the second time.

Dont think it shows many more jobs though, just the hotels and some phone calls that I've noticed.

    Thanks Scuba you're a star :)

I added my bus email (my own business) in it last night. Not sure if there any hotels available at present but I will await the next batch!

RE had 4 casino jobs. I grabbed 1 so anyone in the Glasgow area go grab 1 of the other 3 left.

A question here what does one wear to a casino. Considering my usual dress is smart/scruffy NOT to be confused with smart casual.

Did an upmarket handbag shop in Glasgow in a street full of upmarket designer shops today and the cheapest 1 was £295. There was 1 at £2996!!!

I said to the bloke I liked a bag with lots of little compartments to put stuff in and he said so did he. Oh see keeping my face straight at that one. He was a lovely fellow though so I will enjoy praising him.

Hi - does any one complete video assignments ?

Ive recently purchased my own equipm, ent and have made some speculative applications to new agencies, that I am not already registered with in a bid to increase the work offered.

Ive yet to complete a video assignment but have had an email from one company who was interested in my cv and expereience and the video service.

They have asked for a sample video which isnt a problem but have also asked for details of my charges for this service....

any ideas what is a realistic amount ? Usually we get the MS companies listing their fees with the assignment . Im aware video assignments charge more, but didnt know what to list

    any help ?

    cheers ;)

I'll second that, you don't need to be fancy. I wore jeans and a top when I did my casino job. I was thinking it was gona be be James Bond lIke, but in reality its a mix of old people, guys trying to make money and a room that looks like it could have been a pub in a previous life. When I was there I played the electronic roulette and the guy next to me kept hitting the screen really hard every time he lost.

Do you mean the one where you have to go into a department store and look at the tellys and ask advice re digital and what it means and then count how many DVD recorders and players they have and all the rest of it?
