    The wonders of mystery shopping never cease to amaze me.
    Yet again, they manage to make us look like complete lunatics ! You could just hand it over and run
  • Im going to call them tomorrow, its ridiculous!!!!!

    What is the point in that????
  • I want to know what to say when the staff member asks "what's this" and who are you?". Am I just supposed to smile and walk away and then get cornered by security at the entrance to the arcade!!!

    When you do your report you will see a note at the top and you click on it. It usually takes about 24hrs before it is ready. It will tell you at the top.

    You can get the IBAN and Swift nos from your bank. These are required when receiving / or sending payments abroad.

    That's nice of them lol. I have been emailing them since yesterday morning about that and getting really moronic replies.
    The first reply was "If you do not have to make a purchase, get a business card from the mos or a product brochure & get the mos to write their name and the store phone number on it!!" :confused:

    Can you imagine saying to the cashier in the stamp place, 'Hang on a sec' then rushing over to grab a form or leaflet, thrusting it over the counter saying 'can you sign this please & write the phone number on it as well?' :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I emailed them back to tell them to actually look at the assignment I was talking about & stop sending generic replies that of no use what so ever. Finally had some sense and an apology :eek: this afternoon.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    For some strange reason they phone me quite a lot (not to offer me assignments though!!!) - especially when I have emailed them with a query. Don't know whether to feel worried or not. :D

  • I e-mailed them back asking them what to say. I mean, seriously, if some stranger handed you a black envelope and didn't say anything and walked away I'd be calling security. I know I'd definetely ask who they were and what I was being handed.

    I don't know what the policy is for this chain, but when I worked in retail we were told to never accept anything from customers. I think I'd be a bit... disconcerted if a customer just handed me a black envelope.

    I've got two of those jobs coming up as well... I'll drop the company an email as well. If all else fails, drop the envelope and run! :rolleyes:

    no way would I accept an envelope from a stranger without an explanation :rotfl:

    I hope you get some sense out of the relevant MS company.
