Any idea how long it took them to get back to you? I applied a week ago but have heard nothing yet.

can't find out, sorry. I deleted the email immediately as i was so angry! It took them a while though.
  • Does anyone know an easier way to do a job search on Abai? Do you really have to keep going back to the home page and selecting the client and then seeing if there is anything available from that client in your area. It takes me about 15 minutes to do a full search - and doing that several times a day is rather time consuming.
Why can't they just list all jobs available in my area with all clients all at once like RE and GFK?

Each client is a seperate division of Abai, so they keep them seperate.

Also, i'm pretty sure you can search each client muliple times without going back to the home page, but you do need to search each area seperately.

No, I've not been paid by them before. These are my first jobs. Would I have sent my bank details with the contract I signed? I honestly am a numpty at times.

Many thanks for all the replies.

Yeah. You should have written it down on the contract!:D

RE might have some jobs snapped up, but others, such as the 1 meal and 2 drinks pub visits, they just stick around in the log for weeks and never get taken. I'd do it too if it was properly for two people, but I'm not going for a meal on my own!

  • When it comes to choosing assignments with GAP I'm lucky in that I can do 3-4 jobs for them within a few miles radius therefore it doesn't matter to me that the fee is pants as when I add them all together its worth it as I haven't had to travel far. Last week in one day just for GAP I did 2 stamp jobs, a burger job and a bookies job. I must say I do a job if it's got a reimbursement I want. I won't go out of my way to do just one job - I always try and block book. I also wouldn't do a job for RE if I didn't have another job on as I find their reimbursements don't always cover the actual cost so I like to check beforehand. Always try and book a few on the same day to make the travelling worthwhile. I'm lucky in that quite a few jobs are showing up for South Wales (just accepted three for GR today).

Hi, I completed and submitted results to GR for a couple of mystery bank visits, one on 6th Feb and the other on 12th Feb. They are still referenced as 'payment pending' but not sure why? The previous visits I did were paid on time, but as payments are usually made on 1st and 15th of the month, I can't understand why they haven't initiated payment. Any clues before I get onto them?

Just received this from a good agency which put a smile on my face :)

Do you know anyone who lives 3445 miles away?

    Dear XXXXXXX,

Make money of your friends or family... without anyone being angry about it!

For our XXXXXXX project we are currently looking for shoppers on Bermuda.
If you suggest someone who might be interested in becoming a mystery shopper, we will pay you 20 euros with the successful completion of this shop!
And you get an euro for every shop they do for us... ever!

So why not try contacting that exchange student from high school and who knows, you might even get invited to have a drink in their hammock.

If you want to suggest someone, please contact me as soon as possible by return email

It depends on the client when the payment is processed. I have never had a definite pattern for when the payment is processed from GR.
