I have no kids and about 20 jobs under my belt this year, max!
Same position, no kids but I think I'm doing well, for the first time I'm doing 2 shops in one day tomorrow - just hope I can remember everything.
PS - Timmne, have you tried MS Office Accounting? I just can't get the damn thing to install!0 -

Needs must, I own a retail business thats not doing great due to the recession and now an unemployed Husband
That said, I am still quite picky with the jobs I take.
GFK have been my saviours this year, I've had a loads of good work for them, thank heavens.0 -

In terms of jobs this year I dont think I have done 20 eitherThe early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
I've done 10-12 this year so far, only for RE.0

3 out of 22 so far in Feb with RE for me. TNS & GFK have been the stars this month with the odd few usuals from GAP. Last month RE jobs were 10 out of 25. Actually, looking back the last couple of months have been mainly TNS, GFK & OC.
WOW ellie, Cherry & mysterious, thats going some - well doneI wish I had the time to do more. Mind you it would help if RE were to stop clogging up my page with airside visits - despite me not having them on my profile. Whats the point of filling it in??
Has anyone done a bank job for GFK? I could do with some advice. I was seen by a staff member who then got someone to help me, was taken to an interview room & given a booklet. Told to read booklet & then come in for appointment to open the account. Took my phone no & arranged date & time to ring. Was asked if there was anything else, so said AGAIN I wanted to open an account, what did they offer, what was the process to switch. Told to read booklet and all will be revealed when I go in to open said account.
Well, I'm not sure whether the assignment is completed. I was passed onto a second person who should have been able to help and taken to interview room (as brief says). However, I didn't get one ounce of info from her.
Or, do I wait for phone call and sign off the assignment then?
The phone call is just to book an appointment (as far as I can make out it is with the same person, but not 100% sure). She will tell me anything I want to know then.
I am caught in a grey area - between the two possibilities the brief says will happen!!
If anyone at all can help, I would be most grateful, I keep reading the brief & questionnaire but am none the wiser.
If I have put too much info in here, please someone shout & I will edit immediately!
Bank job - wait for the phonecall then enter report. If you don't get a call within 3 days then enter the report then.
Just explain in the report that you weren't given any information.....it's surprising how often a booklet and appointment is all that's offered.
MS jobs this year for are in the mid-80's at the moment. Things ticking over OK at the moment but less good fee-paying jobs around than usual.0 -
I've just counted and I've already done 75 jobs since the beginning of January:eek:
I still have a few more lined up in February but I won't be doing any more of the RE pet shops. If I see "Please support your answer with a detailed comment" one more time:mad: when a yes or no should suffice and then they still want the full essay at the end:rolleyes: I've never worked for the company who did these ones originally but I really hope it is just a trial for RE and the contract stays where it is.0 -
I did one a few weeks ago which is just 15 mins from my home - I live in Glasgow but am from Merseyside originally so just gave my parents address but it probably doesn't really matter. You could be having work done in your house or anything. Mine was a single visit business trip though so I went in business dress & just thought it was best to give an address further than 15 mins away!
Bet Dave thinks you were having a one night stand. The scouse version of a dirty weekend if you will.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Cherry_pie wrote: »Weeeelll after having a little whine about RE earlier, I've picked up 4 jobs in the last half hour, one of which is a lovely posh restaurant job for me and hubby for Valentines Day. He's been really down lately... the company he worked for went pop and he's lost his management job. We're completely skint, we don't qualify for a penny off the state as I own my own business and it's going to be about 6 weeks before his redundancy money comes through, so we're not in a good state, AT ALL! But, a nice meal out will cheer him up so I'm thankful to RE for the opportunity. We wouldn't have been able to go out otherwise but popping it on the Visa and waiting for the reimbursement is do-able. MS does have its blessings... sometimes!
Delighted for you CP. Great to see someone in your circumstances get a break and nice for hubby too. Valentine's day too...so romantic.
Do tell us all the details how you get on.
I can see your report.
Was the restaurant busy.........Don't know was gazing into hubby's eyes.
Were the plants well cared for......see above answer.:TClique member no 1.:D0
