If you search the internet you will find instances where they have not paid people after sacking them.

Bear in mind that I have done nothing to warrant being sacked and was actually completing an assignment for them while they sent the e-mail, I won't get paid for that as I cannot express the assignment.

They are a poor company and I should have stopped working for them once I realised that.
That's completely unacceptable and I hope you manage to get paid by them for the work you have done. They should at the very least give you an explanation:mad:
  • Do You think RE will have any new assignments on today as there offices are closed? Just wondered as I like to keep an eye on for new ones. xxx

that seems ridiculous. i will keep an eye on them sacking me. i might have a break from them to catch up as their payments take ages to come through.

You are vulnerable with Gap once you start getting queries on your assignments.

I lost four clients on one day and was told it was due to rotation. I even received a call from them last week asking me to reschedule a pizza job - which I did - and was told that I would soon get those clients back.

I have spoken to someone at the Basingstoke office and he was helpful though he could not do anything as the accounts are controlled from Melbourne! I have to e-mail them, which I have done.

    Cheers Paul
  • One thing that miffs me about the underground shops is I can never find them in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and The Wirral; I did one once in Liverpool but we have several branches in town, one near me and loads of others I can get to but all I can see are the North Wales ones. :(

And I can't see the north wales ones but I can see some jobs in London that are supposedly only 11 miles from me what are they playing at only had the same 5 jobs in my area for ages now

I am one of the people that were not paid after my sacking - I completed three jobs before the sacking, apparently there were duplicate accounts

But anyway, I had not completed my payment details before the sacking, so I was never paid.
  • Gap owe me money, about £40. So I won't work for them again unless they shell out and buck up their ideas a bit. Doesn't look like either's gonna happen.

I got sacked from Gapbuster too & I received my payment. However, I contacted Australia first & was told there was nothing they could do as the accounts were controlled from the UK. So the complete opposite of what you were told Paulherts! They are just flat out liars in my opinion. It took a lot of effort to get paid and they tried to worm their way out of it. They owed me over 300euro so I wasn't about to let it go. I had completed over 100 assignments for them and gone out of my way to do assignments that had been cancelled at the last minute by others.
