I sometimes mention one or two. I gave one company a slightly cheeky answer by stating "for confidentiality reasons I'm not willing to provide details of other companies I have worked for". Helps too I think because it shows you're not a blabber mouth and say "Mystery shopper? Me? Oh yes! yes I certainly am! How did you guess?! Was it my clipboard?"

I name a few companies that I work for so they know that I have experience.

I also comment in their usual blub "Why do you think you would be a good mystery shopper?" how many assignments I have thus far completed. i.e. "I have undertaken and completed over 180 mystery shopping assignments since May 2007."

Yes it's great. Today it was rushing straight over to me after I'd taken two mouthfulls to see if everything was alright with my meal.

Staff member: "Is everything alright with your meal madam? Can I get you anything?" with enormous false smile.

Me: "No, actually it's processed and tasted like utter s**t. I'm only eating it because I'm getting paid for it." Under normal circumstances I wouldn't eat here in a pink fit and if my husband found out I was here we'd be off to the divorce courts". :rolleyes:

A quick query about the phone call jobs with OC - do you make the initial phone call between the due dates given? I'm assuming you do as the follow up call could be well outside those initial dates but I just want to make sure so if anyone has done these before please let me know!
I haven't had anything from them for ages and now have three jobs on the go!

Are they bank phone calls where you have to wait for them to send you some info in the post? If so, you need to make the call early enough so that you will receive the documents and be able to do your report by the latest due date.

If it's the life insurance type job, then the brief does specify how long you wait to receive info. You generally need to make the initial contact as early as poss.

If you want to PM me with the company I might be able to help. I've done a few phone calls for OC in the last few months.

I've done a stamps job today and keep getting contradictory errors on the MS website. I've tried swapping my answers around and it wont let me do anything. Can someone help?
