    A way of looking less crackers;

    You: "Hi there, do you have any (product)?"

    SA: Yes (gets it for you)

    You: "Great, how much is it?"

    SA: (names price)

    You: "Ah, in that case, can I leave it please, I can get it for less at Tesco pharmacy"
    Good plan. I did say that it was too expensive but then she starting introducing loads of cheaper alternatives:o I should have just said the magic word 'Tesco':D
  • You could also, in the case of pharmacy, act shocked, say "I'm on JSA/Income support/other benefit which would get you free prescription) and things are a bit tight; I'll see if my GP can prescribe something; I need to see him anyway about (in this case) my husband's diharea (can't be bothered to try and spell it properly!)
  • Can someone please tell me if it's right that when you get an email from BARE to complete the mystery shopping application, they ask for your bank details?
  • Sounds familiar to me - I think they wanted all sorts of info like swift numbers and iban numbers, too - it's just so they have the details to pay you.

    It's just a little boxed notice on the log-in page - I can still log in, too.
  • And once again I am treated like royalty at a burger place :rotfl:
    I have told all my friends to always ask for a receipt when dining there. ;)
