So it would'nt really be odd to then say "Oh I need some shampoo/hair dye/whatever./quote]

And yet still we manage it and more :rotfl:

I had a similar scenario where I couldnt accept the advised product and the counter server (understandably) thought I was crackers as I tried to make my excuses :o
It does say that you can make your purchases at any point during your visit so i find it much easier to pay for them first and then make my enquiries.

If they do (incorrectly) recommend something for diarrhoea I just say I've got some at home but he wouldn't take any:rolleyes:

The one where you have to ask for a product and then not buy it is much harder. They thought I was crackers as well:o

Putting my nurses hat & apron on here but the scenario means the only safe advice is to consult a GP so it would not be appropriate or safe to purchase an anti-diarrhoea product anyway. So it would'nt really be odd to then say "Oh I need some shampoo/hair dye/whatever.

Yes folks you aren't seeing things. HP is sticking up for RE.:rotfl:

Lol yes, you are right but all mine said to see the GP but take the medication in the meantime so it still looked strange!

Well, someone has got to stick up for them I suppose- looks like you drew the short straw :D

It only takes 10-15 minutes to process an order/application, so for less than an hours work you will have earned yourself £75.00, and that is just AN HOUR A WEEK!

  • Hope everyone is OK with the snow today. I've got a bit of a covering here in South Wales so not too bad. DD was so excited. I've rearranged two jobs though as don't fancy risking going out today x

Morning ellie9ellie. There has been snow overnight in Glasgow, at my area it looks like a light dusting, but were my mum stays in the city it is lying. Hope you and DD have a nice day in.

  • Lovely snow! My brakes failed on me taking the kids to school. I've got two jobs on today but they are really local - only a mile away from home and right next to each other. One's a lovely burger, so that can warm me up!

    A way of looking less crackers;

You: "Hi there, do you have any (product)?"

SA: Yes (gets it for you)

You: "Great, how much is it?"

    SA: (names price)

You: "Ah, in that case, can I leave it please, I can get it for less at Tesco pharmacy"

Both my wife and I received emails this mrning from Gapbuster saying:

"Thank you for being a mystery shopper for GAPbuster Worldwide.
Following good practice measures, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GAPbuster delivers consistent quality results to our clients.
As a result we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, unfortunately you will not be required to conduct any further assignments for GAPbuster Worldwide. We sincerely thank you for your continued efforts to improve the shopping experience for all customers.
We hope your GAPbuster shopping experience has been fun".
We would have been happier if they had stated that the real reason was because neither of us had logged in for some time. This was due to the fact that all they seem to have is Fast Food at the 'Scottish Company'

Aawwwww that's rotten. I don't necessarily think it's because you haven't logged in, though. I've read on this thread in the past quite a few people have had the same message - Gap seem to do this every now and then. The other people who got 'terminated' had definitely logged in and even had jobs booked with Gap, which were just cancelled without warning.

I think it's a terrible way to treat people, I'm constantly on edge wondering how long I've got left with them! They sure know how to make people feel valued, don't they??? (NOT)!
