  • I'm only asking for future reference in case one comes up that is near to me - I love this particular place but will only eat the vegeburger. Would hate the accept a job and then find I had to order meat!!![/quote]

Can't see any burger jobs at all, but have done some in the past for RE. Is it a 'royal' sounding burger establishment? If so then the specific burger you have to order is stated in the brief and its meat I'm afraid :(

It is, and it's in a railway station, so it doesn't really stand out from all the other railway station ones on the list.

I think that's a bit rotten, specifying meat but not letting us know until after we've accepted the assignment. I would either lose points for dropping the assignment when it's not really my fault, or end up out of pocket because I'd have to buy the meat one for hubby and then get my own.

i have taken a burger job and you have to order a bacon double cheese burger. i like these so it was ok - i would have been annoyed if it was something i didn't like!

it tells you what you have to order before you do the test.

Yep, not fair, I think that I'd be tempted to take the job and email RE and advise them that you're veggie so would be completing the assignment but substituting the regular burger for a bean burger. If they have a problem then they can release the assignment and you won't be penalised, a burger is a burger after all!
  • Has anyone applied and been allocated one of the nursing home visits yet? I've not heard anything yet but was just wondering if anyone else had.

On another note, aren't I going to look suspicious asking for a receipt for a bottle of water at the train station?!

I always buy other things too so I can claim the full reimbursement (milk, tea bags that kind of thing) I usually say 'these are for my office, can I have a receipt please?' that way I don't feel so silly!

I used to do these visits when the other MS company had them. The station shops always give you a receipt as part of their policy and I've never had to ask for one.

Oh thanks Cherry_pie, I haven't read the notes properly yet so I didn't realise I could spend the whole £3!!! Lucky me.:j
Great tip though, thanks for that.
  • I'm having a bad week with RE. Hit the 'Apply for assignment' button only to be told someone else had been allocated the assignment on 4 seperate ocassions. Anyone recommend any exercises for improving clicking speed?

This sometimes happen if you have already accepted a similar job into your account. It will say someone else has picked the job up - but what it really means is stop being greedy.;););)
    Save me from spending...
