Is anyone in the Glasgow area signed up with Grassroots? I joined about 6 weeks ago, and I check their site daily. Nothing, nada. Not a job in sight. Put down 3 postcodes (including one is Glasgow city centre) that I 'operate' from, thinking I might at least see a hint of a job, but still nothing.
Do they just not have many clients north of the Border? This seems unlikely. Unless I'm still on some sort of "probationary list"?£10 a day: March - August: £1653.54/£1840; September £92.86/£300NSD: April - August: 49 NSDs; September: 9/12101 in 1001 Project: 05/07/09 - 01/04/12 (8/101 completed)0 -

I am in the Glasgow area and have done 14 jobs for them since August. I don't think there is many jobs with them, although I do like them. I have only ever seen jobs once they have emailed me about them and then it is a case of fastest finger first.:A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0

Hi, you really need to be quick with GR as as soon as juobs come up they are gone in a flash!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
I had got an email and logged on....it was for two banks...i clicked one to confirm one of them and when i went back to get the other one it had gone :rotfl: :rotfl: i imagine it is the case "Fastest finger first"......somtimes there is a delay from when the email gets sent out and when they post jobs so i usually check the website throughout the day!!0 -
There's still around 7 around me untouched. I just dont feel too confident. Maybe it is a Glasgow thing but I don't know any females who go to bookies and I am scared I would stick out like a sore thumb.
Josie can you bet on something like who is going to win the CL or FA cup. Pity they didn't let us bet on the Aussie Open.
Hi, yeah there were loads in my area that i could of taken, but like you i haven't got the faintest idea about placing a bet.......... you are right though, i NEVER see any females going in to place a bet.......if they do....maybe the bookies would prob know it's an ms?!?! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I have signed up to Retaileyes, but no jobs so far. What company is the best to sign up to for mystery shops? Eager to get started.

It's best if you sign up for a handful to test the waters as you won't get a steady stream of work from just one, but only do one, submit and then do another otherwise you'll be put off from having to rememebr so much. A lot of people here are members of GapBuster but it's getting mixed reviews lately.
My favourite are Grass Roots Mystery Shopping and GfK.
I signed up for RE about a month ago and still haven't had anything come through apart from pubs which I don't like doing.0 -

Loolabell I am a female and during the visit you do see female coming in and out the bookies and some who are in the shop when you go in and are still there when you go back. Remeber in the bookies they could be in putting a bet on the irish lotto or even who is going to win dancing on ice, there is no shortage of reasons why a woman would visit.:A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0 -

The system let me pick up 7 bookie jobs last night, and they are approved, but do I need to put one back because I'm only allowed to do 6 or can I keep the 7. I'm fairly new to MSing and got really excited when I was able to pick up the jobs.
Should I just email the MS site.
Thanks in advance0
