It also mentions "You can take a maximum of 10 visits /7 per day." I don't understand what this means, the time allocated for the visit is only a few hours?!

Sorry I've not done this specfic job so can't help with the other bits. But this means you can accept 9 other jobs with the same client and can do 6 others on the same day. Probably a good idea only to do one to start with....

Oh yes - and its ok to register self employed when you receive the first payment. I think you actually have a month or so to register.
ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away :)
  • Thanks ruthiejane, that clears it up a lot. I was thinking I'd have to go back 10 times in 2 hours :rotfl:

Also, I haven't applied for self employed tax yet (as this is my first MS job.) Can I wait until after my first payment to do this?

You have to register as self employed within three months of your start date. If you don't, you can be fined £100 which happened to someone on a previous version of this thread, so make sure you do register!

I'm a Sunderland supporter and it's derby weekend. I'm starting to get nervous and excited already.
Here I go again on my own....

I was wondering if anyone can see any jobs on MCE atm? I've not seen anything on there for weeks :(

Same for me. (In fact, I've never seen a job on there for my areas - Brum/London.) I think they sometimes post on the Alerts thread though...

Well you all know I am cheesed off with Ridulous Eyeballs. Well they have gone over the score now.

Mimi who is a man please take note for Gawds sake take them off your top MS company as you will p*** off new shoppers.

I did a pharmacy job today as I had a prescription and was at one of the listed pharmacies anyway so thought I may as well get paid for it.

Now here are some of the flaming stupid questions which ask for an additional comment. Urghhhhh

Were all products pulled forward.......... I answered Yes.

Well whoopidee that wasn't sufficient for the masterminds of the MS world. They wanted a comment. WHAT. So I put YES ALL PRODUCTS WERE PULLED FORWARD. What did they expect me to say.. like they were suspended by the ceiling by Guy Fox and he had balloons tied to his ankles and his braisn were under his arms with bells playing. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then another question. Were you asked if there was anything else you needed. Yes or No. I answered No. Then the red comment box lit up. As I answered NO what comment did they want. Should I have said I wanted them to get Daniel Craig to ravage me ( In my dreams!!)

So maybe Mimi who rates them No 1 in his signature could explain why he has chosen them in his sig as No 1 in the MS world. Cos I would really love to know why. Since many companies offer a much higher fee I think Mimi ( he who was previously known as Mrs Mimi is doing newbie's a bum steer ( Glasgow parlance)
No offence to my English pals.

  • RE are my least favourite MS company too Hollypear.
I don't mind repeating myself (Tick yes, write the MOS smiled at me), but only when I am being paid accordingly!

Some companies I give the same information to in the tick boxes, comment boxes and in the narative. That's fine - if the pay is right.
I hardly do any RE work now as I find it stresses me out going through the painful questionnaires, even though the job itself is simple.

IMO Gap fees are on about the same level as RE, but I can whip through a Gap computer questionnaire in under four minutes without breaking into a sweat.

On a different note, does anyone know when Secret Shopping Services (related to Kern?) pay?

Is the start day classed as the first job I do? Or when I first registered with TNS?
