On Gapbuster, there are currently lots of Post Office jobs. I think they must have just been released. I've signed up for quite a few, they're all in February. So if you could do with a few more free stamps, then I'd log on and see if there are any in your area.

Hope it is OK to post this, only just found this thread, but have been mystery shopping for a couple of years, since being on maternity leave for my DS.

Yes, it's fine to post on here about jobs and don't think anyone minds it doubling up the alert thread, esp as you were an hour ahead of me!

You might want to sign up to subscribe to the alert thread and then you'll get an email when someone posts on there, telling people about new jobs.

    It's here

Yes it's ok to post, but don't mention the client! You'll be getting your bum smacked from Timmne if he see's it, so you'd better edit your post quick :D

Nice to meet you and hope you enjoy joining in with us :)

There are no stamp jobs near me either, although I did two today. I will probably get in trouble as one was for travel insurance but the lady didn't prompt me so I didn't buy any - hope that's right! And on the second one it was the special delivery but she didn't ask any questions at all about the package or when I needed it to arrive by and just presumed I wanted 1st class and checked it through the till - hope that's right! We'll see - my time should soon be up with GAP as it has all been going too well lately.
  • Got a call today for a speedy pizza only 10 minutes walk from my house but has to be for tonight or tomorrow night between 7.30 and 9.30. What a shame - no can do as have school children at home and a baby that needs to go to bed at 7.

Can anyone post any tips for thr RE telephone assignments please? I saw them and was worried I would goof it up! By the time I decided I'd give it a go they were gone lol. I was concerned that I might miss a piece of info & with the call being recorded I'd be in bother! Just thought I'd ask you more experienced MSers Thanks x

I make sure I have the printed scenario in front of me whilst on the phone. The questions you are asked are usually in order so you won't have to keep scanning the print out. Keep your cool and don't rush through it. I'm not sure if the calls are vetted by RE or whether they are recorded to just help you remember everything. HTH Good luck

You get the recording on your screen the next day, so you can play it back and listen to it.

The recording starts from when they answer the phone, so I just make notes saying the time I called, number of menu options, number of rings etc. Anything that won't appear on the recording.

Then I tend to listen again the next day as I'm filling the report in, so when it says "what greeting was given?" I listen to that bit and fill it in, and so on.
Here I go again on my own....
