Put the bt disc into your laptop. You should of got a credit sized card with the hub. On this card you have your bt home hub and a key. You will need this info when you set your laptop up wireless and you need to put this information into your laptop.
Is you laptop wireless or are you going to go wired with it?

Both my desktop pc hub and new laptop are wired. Didn't get a credit card thingy with my BT hub/ Not had time yet as hubby was back in hospital with complications with his briken ribs. They thought he had a blood clot but turns out to be a pleural effusion ( fluid in the base of the lung) And his ribs have not healed yet. Now they tell him he has 7 broken ribs.

And there was I thinking he was still complaining about the pain cos he was a man.

  • Hi, I've just signed up for my first assignment but they want a digital timing device that records seconds. I was going to use my mobile phone but I've just found it doesn't seem to work for that. Can anyone recommend me anything?

Get a stopwatch. I'm sure you'll be able to pick one up cheap in one of those sporting stores. Are you sure your mobile doesn't have the stopwatch facility on it?
  • At lunchtime I accepted a job with RE for a sports centre, the job was a phone call to enquire about childrens activities during the holidays. I've just got an email from them saying the job is about a phone call and visit regarding a gym membership. Not happy that they've changed the brief since I accepted it, and now I'm going to have to cancel as I can't do the visit and I'll lose points. Not happy at all.

  • I am doing my first pub job for RE - it says I have to buy one drink from one list and one drink from another. Can I take my husband with me and buy both drinks at the same time and give one to him?
    thanks in advance :)

On Gap, there are currently lots of stamp shop jobs. I think they must have just been released. I've signed up for quite a few, they're all in February. So if you could do with a few more free stamps, then I'd log on and see if there are any in your area.

Hope it is OK to post this, only just found this thread, but have been mystery shopping for a couple of years, since being on maternity leave for my DS.

I looked at these this afternoon and the brief seemed to suggest that you had to make a phonecall, do a visit and receive a call all for a ridiculously low fee:eek: Yet they've all gone so someone must have taken them:confused:

I would send them an email back explaining you can't do the revised brief and asking them not to dock any points as it's not your fault. They are usually pretty good about adding points back manually if you ask.

Yes this is perfectly acceptable. You will only get reimbursed what you actually spend so if the drinks cost less than allowance you could get an extra one (or two) as well;)

Yeah thats fine as long as you purchase the drinks, doesnt matter how many people visit.

I've had an automated email sent through saying there has been a problem with the brief and if I want to cancel I wont be penalised :T

On another note GFK have just phoned and offered me a very nice job at the Swedish home store in Lakeside , good fee as well! :j :j :j
