another query ref RE pub/food job. I have to buy a drink from list A and a drink from list B as well as a Sunday Roast. But the Sunday Roast comes with a drink that is not listed on Box A or B - what do I do?0

The Sunday Roast comes with a wide choice of drinks and there are usually at least two of the choices on the A/B lists. If there definitely aren't any this time then you would need to buy drinks A and B in addition to the included one.
Another question about the Sunday Roast dinner.I want to bring mys husband along and he will have to get a dinner as well. However, it will look weird if he pays for his dinner separately. Can I get it all together and just claim back £9.75?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I'd like to know this too, as I'd like to take hubby and daughter.0 -
Yup, I've done a couple of these and tend to go with my Dad, buy it all at once and submit your expenses based on the reciept totals - I've always got the full £9.75 even though one meal and drink comes to less. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

so if I bought 2 sunday roasts and a kids roast and it came to say £13.50 would I submit the receipt for £13.50 and just put £9.75 in my expenses?0 -
I would, after all the worst they can do is reduce it to the amount that you spent on the assignment meal! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
