Did a casino assignment for RE last night and had a blast! I wish my 'real' job was as much fun! :rotfl:

The reimbursement is £50, but my receipt is only £25 for the meal, I take it they still give you the rest for the gaming as you can't get a receipt for that?

    Thanks!

I did one last year and just claimed the full £50. Like you say, you won't get a receipt at the tables!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

How strict are GFK on the criteria that the coversheet is printed before the visit?

Part of accepting the assignment is agreeing to printing off both the coversheet and questionnaire, if you don't print both off and you get found out. They will be within their rights to refuse to pay you.

The coversheet is there to ensure you visit the correct address and can only be printed off before doing the assignment, once you have entered the results you won't be able to go back and print it.

If there is some dispute about visiting the wrong location, they will ask for a copy of the coversheet as assurance you visited the right place, if you don't have that copy, regardless of wether you went to the right place or not, you won't get paid.

Is it really worth not priniting it ? do it on fast draft and use both sides for different jobs.

    Hiya

I'm about to sign up for Retail Eyes, does anyone want to give me their username for the referral fee?

Edited to say, I've already signed up with someone. Thanks.

With the GfK ones I don't think it is very green or MS to print out. I save the pdf to my hard drive so if I do ever need to refer to it or print it out then I can, HTH x
  • I had a problem with entering gap info for burger job on Friday night would not accept my answers however I tried. I sent an enquiry via the website. On Saturday virgin email was down all day so I only got an email from gap dated yesterday this afternoon saying if I didnt enter the results they would cancel it which they have done. What do I do now because it says not to reply to the email I have replied anyway. Don't they read their website enquires. Really annoyed because I didn't want to do the job in the first place they rang me but of course I can't ring them. Does anyone have an email address I can contact them on. If I don't get paid they can whistle for burger jobs from now on.

    Sorry rant over.

I've always had replies for my queries, but not over the weekend, so chances are they can get it sorted. However, if you didnt want to do it, why did you say yes?
  • Thanks Darlo fan

    Thanks for the info.

I didn't want to do it because I had a very busy week but they were desperate. Then spent hours trying to get it to accept the wretched form I have done them before no problem asked someone else to check it in case I had done something daft but it would not accept replies to 2 questions no idea why kept asking for a comment and there was a comment already. I retyped and everything.

Just annoyed that at the end of a busy week I spent a long time on a job I may not be paid for they are not my favourite jobs anyway but I do them occasionally.
