It was my first time too last month and the staff were really helpful and showed me what to do and it was brilliant because I won £250! I am a 40 yr old female and it was really good fun, they sat me near the caller so I wouldnt miss anything and staff came round every now and then to make sure I was okay. You never know your luck!
Thanks. That's given me a bit of confidence to go. If he phones back I'll take it, otherwise I'll do it next time it crops up.0 -
Hi all, I have a pizza job in a few days for GAP and was wanting a little advice. It tells me to order 2 starters, 2 drinks and I think 2 medium pizzas, but this comes to a lot more than the £19 reimbursement, and it a lot more than 2 people can eat, can anyone clarify if this is one medium pizza between two people or 2 medium pizzas?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It's one between 2 people. I take my DH to these and we always get garlic bread to start (share), one medium pizza from the cheapest selection something like a farmhouse, the salad bowl (as full as I can get it). and soft drinks. That should all come in under budget by a few pence.
You can get a different topping on your pizza or a different starter but you'll have to pay the extra. We always share and find that there is enough and we're both hungry people! Never get any funny looks for sharing, it's quite romantic!0 -
Thanks Vicki, no sharing is fine, it was the idea of trying to get through one each that scared me!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Take care with the interpretation of "commuting" on car insurance policies. Generally commuting covers you for travel between home and a fixed place of employment. Mystery shopping trips are usually not classed as commuting. You do need to check this with your insurance company though as they are all different.
Business Class 1 is either free or costs a few quid which does cover you for mystery shopping work.
It's a personal decision on if you wish to take the cover or not. However, if you do have an accident on a mystery shopping trip, you need to be prepared to lie to the insurance company about the purpose of your visit.
It's up to individuals to weigh up the risks and costs and go with whichever they feel most comfortable with. Here I go again on my own....0 -
re the gap pizza jobs
I'm still a bit confused over what i can and can't order.
reading previous posts i think I can get 1 starter (to share) 2 Pasta or pizzas (1 each) & salad bowl and drinks.
Is this right or have I totally lost it0 -
or do I just get 1 starter, 1 main & salad and 2 drinks???
