RE says that over the next few weeks 9000 jobs will be available, a survey and competition as well as a newsletter.
Is that like the thousands of jobs they had during December and only about 20 of them were in a 50 mile radius of my home?

Hi I haven't done any shopping for months but am doing a Gap chicken at the weekend. I cannot see anywhere whether you can take someone with you or not - for a drive thru. If not, can you buy 2 meals (take one home for OH) or this not allowed. If not, could you ask for sepeate bills!
    Thanks Karrie
i wouldn't risk it as i used to work at the chicken shop and we checked shoppers out on cctv - the store could say your report is invalid.

i would make your husband queue in the shop while you drive thru or just not bother taking him at all!!

You can't order on two bills as it'll affect the timing. Also, following on from that and waaay down the line, doing that and being found out would not only give you grief with GAP, it could put their contract at risk with the client....

Think twice! Also watch the youtube video on how KFC suppliers treat their chickens - I'll never eat there again and I'm not usually an animal hugger!

    A little advice, please!

I've just done a mystery shop at a pizza place for GAP. It listed three things I had to buy: pizza buffet, drink and salad. However, the server pointed out that the salad was included with the pizza buffet, so I didn't order the salad as it would have looked very strange when I'd just been told that it was free!

Do you think I'll get into trouble with GAP because of this? If I'd said I definitely wanted to order the salad anyway, it would have immediately alerted them to the fact I was mystery shopping them!

I dont think so. Just put it in your report - it usually asks for additional comments. I once had to order a specific sandwich from their list at a sandwich shop for GAP and ordered something completely different because the server convinced me to purchase their special offer. (this was during the Irish meat ban) I went with her recommendation before I realised what I was doing. Oops! I told them that the server was so fantastic at selling me this particular sandwich that I just couldn't resist. They seemed fine with that - although I know they can be a bit pedantic at times!

I've not worked for GAP, but if they're like any of the other companies I've worked for, that won't be an issue at all. They're generally more interested in the service you receive regarding the products you order; if they have to pay you less because you paid less, that can only be good for them!

Has anyone had points deducted by RE for not filing within 24 hours - even though their website was unavailable?

I did 2 airport jobs on the 27th and agreed by email with RE that I would file reports on the 29th - and they have deducted 4 points for each - bit of a cheek since it was actually impossible to file before the 29th and I had already agreed that date anyway

Do they do this a lot?

I have emailed the person who I dealt with for the jobs and done the contact us through the website but haven't heard anything yet. Any other advice?

    Thanks

Edit - they have reinstated so if you ever think the points are incorrect probably worth an email
